America: Are You F**king Brain Dead?!

Before the ink on the "No WMD" NIE report had a chance to dry, neo-conservatives hit the talk show circuit and the broadcast Lords of Loud radio right went into overdrive to spin the information into a full scale intel overdrive...

"Who are you going to believe...the NIE intelligence or the President's?"

Neoconworld sent out the hit squad of Podhorertz and Bolton to attack the reports and the firm of Limbaugh, Levin, and Hannity echoed the message: "Sham!"

-Sixteen intel agencies are in collusion to embarrass and undermine the President.
-The report was not fact, but agenda, driven.

Alan Dershowtiz called it "Stupid Intelligence," which would seem to be the present condition of the American voter.

In a Rasmussen Poll, only 18% of voters are buying the report's conclusion with 66% believing Iran is still building WMD. You say that they must have only polled Fox News viewers? Think again while I splash cold water on the idea that a Democratic administration is a Jan 20, 2009 slam dunk.

Only 29% of liberal voters believe the report.

Hey, poll-ees! Were you on some sort of narcotic bender right before the poll? Do the words "Iraq" and "4,000 dead American soldiers" bring anything to mind? The slow down in troop deaths getting to you? Six years in a bloody quagmire not enough? Or is it that you're pushing the "only thing we learn from history is that we don't learn from history" envelope?

With these numbers, I don't blame the President for continuing to spin the report like a drunken dreidel (my wife didn't think I could connect this story with the never-ending Chanukah holiday). Why not? What hasn't worked for the country, seems to have worked just swell for this president and his policy failure beneficiaries.

Maybe it's that the entire idea of rapprochement through diplomacy isn't dangerous enough for a country born out bullets, blood and John Wayne movies.

America: Open up your cerebellum! You're being sold another silo of bull-shit and you can't even smell the difference between intelligence and fear and hate-charged fabrications created to boonswaggle Americans into voting against their own best interests...AGAIN!

You re-elected Bush/Cheney after tax cuts that gave you a few extra dollars while the top .5% of "earners" (to use the term loooooosely) were averaging over $50,000 in their tax cut stockings. You already allowed these bastards to send the "they'll follow us here" message to ramp up one war. Now you want to give them a pass as they grease the pads for one more before they step into oil-soaked retirement.

Activist judges, gay marriage and Christmas-warring - oh my - sweeping the country if you dare bring in a Democratic presidency. Global warming, dollar weakening due to thunderous debt, record-breasking incompetence in government, erosion of civil liberties and protections, and you still believe these guys?!

What the hell is wrong with you?!

It isn't that we shouldn't be concerned by whackjobs around the world. What is troubling is that we choose to believe a bunch of right wing whackjobs right here in America. It leaves one thinking that we may be just blind, deaf and dumb enough to elect the new warmonger next time. And if we are to believe the Rasmussen numbers, my guess is that is just who we'll find ourselves with sometime a little more than thirteen months from now.

Intel wrong. Neocon whackjobs who have gotten it wrong from day one, right.

Under the spell of a narcissistic sociopath

As of late, Americans are behaving like an abused wife, returning again and again to an abusive mate/president, trusting certified liars again and again, not learning a darn thing from past mistakes, in short behaving like a bunch of suicidal lemmings running in droves to the edge of the cliff.

After the mess in Iraq, the bad state of the economy, the free fall of the dollar--what will it take to open up our eyes? Do we have to face something  extreme like the complete collapse of Germany after WWII to finally break  the neocons' spell  on this country?

The Abused Need Therapy

The following dialogue occured on a post over the weekend.  I am struck by the fact that individuals will accept an alternative abuser/criminal because that is all they are offered.  It seems Americans are acting like Abused Victims of Rape (which we are), and will intellectually "accept" another abuser in place of the current rapist, or may even accept the current rapist if he "promises to be nice" or offers some other BS platitudes.  HOW CAN THIS ABUSED BEHAVIOUR BE CORRECTED?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Voting to me, still means you are "supporting" the platform of the person you are voting for...Is it not UNACCEPTABLE  to take what/whomever is shoved down your throat?!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POST -- No difference between Clinton and ANY Republican nominee? That's pure BS and anyone willing to look critically at the candidates knows it. While it has become popular to bash Clinton and label her as a Republican, it has become a self-fulfilling prophecy for those who do it. They completely ignore her positions on the wide spectrum of issues in favor of harping on her votes on the war, etc. She's not my ideal candidate either, but I won't hesitate to vote for her if she is the Democratic nominee.

Post -- This IS a Critical Time!
What is BS is to even consider allowing a Clinton or Bush near Power. Americans need, no require an INTERVENTION in the lock-on-power these families have had for too many years. We need a NEW PARTY! The Repigs and Democraps have been partying all over our sorry asses. If you're using critical thinking, it's not showing...

POST -- Apparently you didn't really read my post
Apparently you didn't really read my post. If it comes down to Clinton or a Republican, I intend to vote for Clinton. How do you intend to vote? It's a simple question. Don't respond with any independent candidate nonsense.

Maybe it is just me, but I WILL NOT vote for Clinton.  I do not see that as a logically or morally acceptable choice.   I WILL NOT have a different piece of CRAP fed to me, because I said NO to the other.  Evidently, many WILL take the LESSER EVIL alternative -- I believe this decision making process needs to be examined, then rejected, as well as the 2 is really 1 Party System.  Food for thought.

It's an assume power ...

The power of the press is assume. Every tyrant has known this and used it to great effect to lead otherwise rational intelligent people into ill-logical perceptions. Coupled with the use of shock it can make people believe the sky is purple.

9/11 shocked us all. Since then it seems every other day some revelation comes out that shocks us and before we have a chance to assimilate what we've witnessed the administration stocks the embers of the flames of fear to keep us in shock.

One must keep in mind that a vast majority of people don't have the time to sit in front of a computer, or read a book, travel overseas, listen or read sources of information other than what they watch in 30 minutes of BS the M$M lays out for them to swallow. They aren't aware of who owns the M$M and therefore don't question their motives. It's extremely hard to let do of the "Daddy syndrome", in which people desperately want to believe the powers that be instead of believing that their own government and the media would be lying to them.

Basically it's up to us. The fortunate ones that have the time to seek the truth to keep on keeping on until we effectively squash the continued drum-beat of the Big Lie. Eventually the people come around. Remember there was a time when bush had a 90+% approval rating and a majority thought the Iraq invasion was a good idea.

What I'm worried about more than the people is that we may very well be running out of time to right this ship before the next BIG shock hits us and this New World Order grabs us all by the throat and strangles the life out of all resistance.
