O'Reilly Rants At Catholic Bashers While Chortling With Coulter and Her Defaming Jews

Tell A Friend

If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.

~ Chinese Proverb

Bill O'Reilly rants, raves and blubbers when his Catholic ox is gored, but it's perfectly alright when his buddy Ann Coulter gores the Jews sacred cow.

Is there no one to defend the Jews from Ann Coulter's vicious anti-Semitism?  What are they?  Chopped liver?

Certainly not Bill 0'Reilly who raved on for an hour on the Radio Factor and again on the TV Factor that the only group that can be bashed with impunity is Christians; Catholics in particular.

Apparently he can vent his righteous indignation on behalf of his own church and Christianity in general, but what of the demeaning of Jews and Judaism from the mouth of his good friend Ann Coulter?

This from a man who constantly proclaims to have the deepest respect for all "the folks" regardless of their ethnicity or religious beliefs.  Yeah!  Right!  Only when it's convenient for him.

Within hours of excoriating the gays in San Francisco for "defiling" his church, he was chortling with the queen of venom, Ann Coulter, on his TV show about her vile remarks that all Jews need to be "perfected," and we'd be better off without any Jews in this country.

Talk about wearing two hideous faces at the same time.  Sure, Coulter is his good friend, but a "good friend" would tell her she's wrong and she should apologize, then make up with her later...in private.

O'Reilly complained bitterly that there wasn't coverage of this nonevent, event by any of the "mainstream liberal media."  That was then.  Today the San Francisco Chronicle did have a story, which Bill-O described as "bland."

A "bland" news story.  This comment coming from a man who calls himself a "journalist."  If Bill were a "journalist," he'd know that journalists are supposed to report the "facts," not bombastic fire and brimstone news articles.  That's for editorial pages, Bill.  J-101, Lesson #1!

If the story were "bland," so was the video tape of the so-called desecration of the church service.

From Bill-O's screeching, I expected to see two torch-wielding gay men sporting glitzy costumes and grotesque masks going on a berserk rampage throughout the sanctified sanctuary.

Okay, one was wearing a gaudy costume and mask, while the other was dressed as a nun.  Neither was bearing arms of fire, nor causing pandemonium during a maniacal demonstration of angst against the church.

No, they waited in line with all the other parishioners to partake of the eucharistic wafer, and nobody seemed to notice let alone care.

What's good for the goose...

isn't good for the gander anymore. We live with Alice and Tweedle Dumb now, and all the Cheshire Cats are grinning from the darkness, waiting to devour anyone with an opinion other than their own.

The rants of these supposed "celebrities" are a monopoly on the news now. Distraction-distraction-retraction-distraction.......etc.

Always a pleasure reading you SS

The truth of the matter

If we look at the parentage of Jesus and the historic legacy of Christianity it makes more sense to consider Christians to be "bastardized" rather than "perfected" Jews.

Off the Map Insanity

Where DID these religious maniacs come from?

For complete over-the-top and off the map religio-insanity check out Condi Rice's comments Wednesday Oct 17 as she toured the "holy sites" around Jerusalem... She even stooped to lay a wreath at the Shrine of the Nativity? Hijacking her religion for a photo-op ? Class act!

Sheesh! Now they'll have to hire an exterminator AND an exorcist to cleanse that place.

What part of: "Suffer the little children" did you not understand! Or: "unto the least of these, my breheren"?

She spouted pious christianist rhetoric while the blood of thousands of murdered Iaqi children still dripped from the hems of her reeking skirts.

Evil. Ugly. AND Insane. With 'god' on their side!

The words of...

The words of the Prophet and Wyatt Earp, come to mind, " ...I am coming and all Hell is following after me..." Before this is all over there will more politicians and Religionists from both parties and every religion, flung into Hell than since the beginning of time.

Nonsensical crapola

It's always a hoot when the radical left thinks it can lecture the rest of us about hate. You throw me Ann Coulter, I will throw you Randi "Kill Bush" Rhodes. You throw me Bill O'Reilly, I will throw you Keith "Go f### your mother" Olbermann.

I've missed you, or have I?

Don't kick a girl "Randi" when she's down.  Give her a chance to recover from whatever she suffered.  I listen to Randi and never heard her say anything about "kill" Bush or anyone else, for that matter.

If you don't see the "rightness" of K.O., no one can help you.

Reply: Just throw them all in the garbage where they belong!

Why is it always the "right avarice on elephants" that has to spew obscenities and nonsensical explatives around like the very $#@% they talk about?

Instead of right and left why can't it be about the HUMAN cost and element instead of the "bottom line" which we are all on with no choice of our own!

You have intentional ignorance Scott, following the crowd I see.

Here are the details

First of all, I hope Randi has a quick recovery from her fall (not mugging, but fall). Second, she joked in May 2004 about how President Bush should be assassinated like Fredo in "The Godfather, Part II". The audio recording of that joke is still available on websites like Cynical Nation and Ace of Spades. It is one of the most well-documented talk radio gaffes out there - and it was a "Kill Bush" joke. Period.

Keith Olbermann never allows his "truths" to be scrutinized. Ever. He does not allow people with opposing viewpoints on his show. And if another talk show host (like Michael Medved) invites Olbermann on the opposing show to defend his potshots, Olbermann will not go on. This is cowardice.

Reply: OK, Damail...

...if you want to hold a three-year-old joke against Randi, go ahead.

You probably won't agree, but joking about Bush being off'ed like Fredo is nothing compared to the vile, tasteless joke  Bush told at an annual dinner about WMDs aren't here, no there not under the chair, there not anywhere, when the blood of dead American soldiers was and is dripping from his hands, as well as the blood of thousands of untold innocent Iraqis who were guilty of nothing, just as the people in the World Trade Center were guilty of nothing except being in the wrong place at the wrong time on 9/11.

I watch K.O. everyday, and you said that before, that he doesn't invite the opposition on.

Not everyone agrees with his assessments, like Richard Wolfe,  Johnathan Alter and the NBC regular, dark hair, glasses who's name absolutely excapes me at the moment.   All of whom disagree with him at times.

Maybe it's hard to notice because it's done in such a gentlemanly way.

Not in my copy of the Constitution

"What happened to the right to peacefully protest those with whom we disagree?"

You're not serious. The original colonies were established by people who were tired of  being hassled when they tried to practice their religion. No one has the right to go into a church or synagogue or mosque and interfere with people in the middle of a religious service.

You call that disagreement?

I'm not talking about  Olby's cast of regulars periodically disagreeing with him about a point here or a point there. I'm talking about people who disagree fundamentally with his basic assertions, whatever they are at the time. And if he spouts off at conservative talk show hosts during his "worst person" segment, he will never go on any of their shows to debate whatever the point was. It recently happened with Michael Medved, who invited Olby on his show to debate Medved's column about slavery. Olby refused.

Randi's "kill Bush" joke is part and parcel of the whole package: screaming, interrupting, insults, crackpot conspiracy theories, and sexual banter that makes Howard Stern sound like a choirboy.
