The Heat Is On!

There's a lot of heat being applied to DUBYA here of late. He's getting it from all sides. The American People are outraged beyond belief. Whether they are pacifists, or simply feel that DUBYA completely bungled the prosecution of the war on terror, people are over the Iraq Fiasco, and want us out in short order. Congress is really starting to feel the heat from The American People as well. They are also applying some of that heat to DUBYA. Then there's that whole Gonzo-Gate/(UN)Patriot(ic) Act/executive privilege/abuse of power thing going on as well. That's cranking up the heat on DUBYA, too.

Whether or not you think he's completely disconnected from reality (a MUCH debatable point), it is starting to become clear that DUBYA is feeling that heat, or pressure, if you will. While it is also clear that the DUBYA administration has been crumbling for some time (see my article, The falling house of cards for details), I think things are getting worse for DUBYA. I am starting to get the feeling that all the heat on his ass is really having an effect.

I watch TV news daily. When DUBYA does show up, he's looking a little more frazzled than he used to, and he seems a bit more distracted as well. Of course, saying that is like saying your ficus plant has gotten bigger in the years you have had it. But it's true. His demeanor is nowhere near as filled with grandiosity as it used to be when he was willing to say, "bring 'em on!" Gone are the days of gripping the podium with that white-knuckled glee of yesteryear. Now he holds it like a frail old man holding a walker.

And then there are the eyes. What happened to that one time sparkling glee that once danced like stars on a moonless night on his hazel orbs? When you look at DUBYA's eyes today, they seem sullen and sunken. I know that part of that is just age catching up with him. However, it seems to me anymore that his eyes look like they did while he sat reading My Pet Goat: far away and completely lost in the ether.

What I am going to say next may seem cruel, but so what? I am glad that all this strife and turmoil is catching up with him. I say that because he is the one who planted the seeds of bad karma, which are currently in full bloom in his reality. I am saying this because for too long, those same seeds of karma stood dormant; gathering power and malice for their eventual bloom. And now that time has arrived.

It couldn't happen to a better asshole! It couldn't happen to a more deserving jerk-off. And it's about bloody time!

The temperature needs to keep getting hotter. We have to keep this pressure up. There is a lot that needs to be explained. There is a lot that needs to be prosecuted. There is much that needs to be done all around, and it is up to us to not let up for one minute.

It is clear that left to their own devices, the federal government will remain corrupt and ineffectual. It is just as clear that at long last, our words are being heard. Even if it's only in small increments, the message that We The People are over the bullshit is getting through to the idiots in DC. We have burned our way through the insulation that separates us from those who presume to govern us. Let's not stop until all their asses are sizzling from the heat.

A big thank you to Cindy Sheehan for putting an acetylene torch to Nancy Pelosi's bony little ass. Let that stupid moron know that she's not the ultimate goddess in the legislature! If she isn't willing to honor her oath to the constitution sworn on a bible, she needs to take her "say something" scarves and sensible shoes and walk her tired self back to California!

So let's keep up our end as well. Sign every petition for impeachment. Sign every petition that continues the pressure on the government. Sign every petition you can! Let's all keep doing the voodoo that we do so well. If we are going to be forced to live with the asshole DUBYA and the idiots in congress, then it's only right that we make their realities and lives as miserable as they make ours.

Fair is fair, after all!

Blessed be!
Pappy

Gore and government.

But government isn't the problem (that's a Republican canard), it's who we elect to fill the jobs in government that matters.

I agree completely. However, the point remains that the heat being applied to DUBYA is growing, and from the looks of things, it isn't about to drop any time soon. While it has taken time to get to this point, the good thing is there are so many people who are completely over DUBYA and his bullshit, I don't see anyone letting up on him until he walks out the door of the White House for the last time.

DUBYA has generated a huge backlog of bad karma. That karma has now caught up with him. The pendulum is swinging in the other direction, and DUBYA has been caught up on it.

Could he survive all this? He may survive initially, but it will get to him somehow. Remember how Nixon began to suffer from phlebitis just before and right after he resigned? No person can survive that kind of pressure unless they are completely disconnected from reality. While a case could be made that such is the case with DUBYA, judging from the way he looks today as opposed to how he looked when he had a rubber-stamping congress, it is clear that the pressure is taking its toll. AND AIN'T IT ABOUT TIME!

Al Gore would have taken the country, and world, in a completely different direction had the 5 Court Justices not stopped the Florida recount.

That goes without saying. Frankly, had Gore been declared the winner, I don't think there would have been a 9/11. He wouldn't have ignored the memo entitled "Bin Laden determined to attack America." Even if it would have happened, I KNOW we wouldn't have even considered doing anything to Iraq. We'd have gone into Afghanistan, kicked the shit out of the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and anyone else who needed an ass kicking.

Unfortunately, that is only a theory. We will never know one way or another.

Blessed be!
