Frankly, I'm a big fan of Bill Maher. He's smart, funny, tweaks authority just the way I like to see it tweaked....
But apparently, in a recent edition of "New Rules,", Maher said,
"Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion have to stop pretending that I'm the one who's being naive," says Maher.
How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV, igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours, and then think 'Well, if you believe that was the cause...'
Stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on the show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you."
I don't get it. The latest polls show that a majority of Americans are not satisfied with the the the 9/11 Commission did. I wasn't. It was clear that Bush and Cheney were doing all they could to impede the investigations.
Maher makes a joke about the questions people have raised, mocking people for not accepting the explanation that the airliners and their fuel caused the collapse...
But how can Maher possibly use his jets to explain the third tower that collapsed?
I was one of the original co-signers of the 9/11 Truth statement because I was not satisfied with the original inquiry. Since then, a lot of reasonable questions have been raised. Some powerful observations and theories have been posited. They deserve answers. The people of the US and the world deserve a re-opening of the 9/11 investigation-- a full investigation. It should start now and then go even further once Bush leaves office and is unable to further block the digging that must be done.
Later in the same monologue, Maher makes a joke about breastfeeding mothers, commenting that breastfeeding is an intimate act. He adds,
"Well so is masturbating, but I don't do that at Applebees, at least not in the main dining room."
If I could reach Bill Maher, (and sometimes, google alerts help make that happen) I'd tell him that it looks to me like he's pulling someone elses dick, not his. There are tons of questions that are reasonable-- not crazy at all. So, why, Bill, are you making a mockery of the majority of Americans who want answers that were ignored or intentionally avoided? I've always thought you're your own man, Bill. But when you help promote the message of the right wingers who tried to sell the piss poor story that the 9/11 investigation was complete and comprehensive-- and that's what you do when you, with one broad stroke, insult the 9/11 truthers-- you serve the people who'd like to keep the lid on all the questions that were never answered.
Even when it comes to the towers, I have an open mind. Sure, "they" say the towers fell because of the heat and burning fuel. It's a bit odd that Maher, who knows what total liars the Bush Administration is composed of, just buys that particular story. But I don't know enough about engineering, so I listen when engineers say it doesn't add up. I'm willing to suspend my disbelief.
Still, even ignoring the the big towers, there are so many more questions worthy of attention... sorry Bill. You're getting it wrong on this one. Fortunately, the majoirty of Americans know better and most likely, congress WILL re-open hearings on 9/11.
So, Bill, keep up the good work, over all, holding any and all politicians feet to the fire, and take another read on 9/11. Only this time, Bill, hold onto your own dick, not some right winger's who wants you to shut up the voices of the questioners.
(sorry for the scatalogical imagery, but after watching Maher's cable-language monologue, I was inspired. Yes. I know that scatological is about excretory functions. Well, we're talkin' 'bout Maher's bullshit attitude to 9/11 Truthers, aren't we?)

Perhaps Maher fell victim to the"alternate theory propaganda" put out by the mainstream media?
After all, Lenin, the first Communist dictator after the takeover of Russia in 1917, is widely credited with the following quotation, "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves."
Maher is probably only familiar with the well-placed propaganda, such as molten metal at Ground Zero, NORAD standing down, and the melting point of steel.
Little does Maher know that the "Ground Zero molten metal stories" is nothing but propaganda, and that the evidence proving this exists here.
Little does Maher know that the "NORAD standing down stories" is propaganda designed to distract us from the fact that there were NO PLANE CRASHES on 9/11. Does Maher even know that every WTC "strike" video shows an aluminum airplane with a plastic nosecone gliding into a steel/concrete building like it glides through the air?
Little does Maher know that the "melting point of steel stories" is propaganda designed to distract us from the fact that the Twin Towers did not "collapse", but instead were pulverized. Evidence of this is here.
I wonder if Maher is aware that attorney Jerry Leaphart is now notifying the Defendants in a 9/11 "Inside Job" case filed by Dr Morgan Reynolds? I wonder if Maher is aware the US District Court in Southern New York recently unsealed the case?
I wonder if Maher is aware of Dr Judy Wood and her evidence for directed energy weapons at the World Trade Center? I wonder if Maher is aware of the Request for Correction filings with NIST?

The molten metal stories are true, established by eyewitness, videotaped accounts, NASA temperature mapping, and other evidence, like the huge, fused masses of material found in the wreckage that required melted metal to fuse. The angle cuts in the wreckage with molten residue around it establish the use of cutter charges to bring down the building. CB is spreading this same crap around every site that will let him on in order to sow dissention among the truth movement. CB's post is worthless propaganda itself. should really know better. There was no molten metal at Ground Zero. You cannot just say: "there definitely was molten metal because of eyewitnesses, US government images, cut steel beams, etc."
You must go deeper than that and look at the "bigger picture".
Where were all the steam explosions? The information in the link I gave shows the mm evidence to be purely fabricated.

The quote above could be accredited to Lenin but it does seem more suitable to Zubatov, the first Tzar's secret police leader who developed a net of bogus opposition groups, controlled and funded by police. And Lenin was nevver a dictator. He became a Chairman of the govt in 1917 was nearly assassinaated in 1922 and died in 1924. Hardly a dictatorship. It was a Civil war in 1918-1922 also.
Maher is nothing of that sort. He is a witty but shallow and rather stupid person who is who he is - a true comedian. Otherwise, why would you think they tolerate him?

...but not because Bill Maher told me that I was wrong for thinking that there's more to the story. I am wavering because some of the "truth" stuff I read is so far fetched, it makes me wonder why I still buy into the "truth" idea at all.
The only thing that, to me, remains concrete is how the buildings fell in such a controlled fashion. No other buildings hit by a plane before or since has fallen. Not a one. Tower seven wasn't even hit, and it fell just as neatly. That is suspicious to say the least. If that doesn't beg for an investigation, then nothing does.
As to why Bill Maher is so against the idea, I don't think one can automatically lay it off on him swallowing right-winged bullshit. I think that he probably read about it, and found the ravings of many conspiracy theorists just a bit too much to handle. I myself have read some of the stuff written about the "truth" of 9/11, and I have envisioned the writers of said stuff wrapped up in straitjackets, typing with their noses, tongues, or penises.
I'll not fault him for his opinion. I find him to be exceptionally cogent, and definitely level-headed. I don't think it's right for him to be so dismissive of the idea, but Real Time With Bill Maher is his show, and he has a right to express his opinion or run his show however he sees fit.

You see, ... Bill isn't married and sees boobs as sexual body parts. A Mommy has a right to breast feed her baby anywhere and at anytime they want to. Bill, if you don't like it, ... jeez, keep reading "How to make a living in Comedy, without using foul language," not using a mother's breast, which every mother has and every mother should use for their baby. Fake milk is okay, but breast feeding is too natural for Maher's poor little eyes.." Bill, ... you should be ashamed.!"

Bill Maher wishes to stay employed in Main Stream media.
Naturally he's not going to question 9/11 official policy.
Rosie O'Donnel is the only high profile public media figure I know of so far to question 9/11. Bill Maher doesn't wish to join her as unemployable I'm sure.
So He's just another member of the "SILENCED MAJORITY" reading from the official scripts of our Authoritarian leadership.
Yes, that means that 9/11 truth, whatever it actually is, is definitely off the script.

I like Bill too, but sometimes I wonder if he's a plant because of the comments like the one this last friday. Remember he gave Mos Def that "your a dumbass" look when he said he didn't buy it either. I have seen every 9/11 video from Loose Change to Police State to possible UFO sightings on the side of the twin towers on Japanese television. The History Channel Documentary 9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction is an ATTACK on 9/11Truth and Alex Jones and proves that the movement is working!!! It was just a "dying man's" last words through government subsidised corporate parent companies media (i.e. the History Channel, Discovery Channel, Fix News or FOX if you prefer, etc.). The so called EXPERTS ( a 20 something editor and editor-in-chief for popular mechanics mag.) did not even address the points Alex and others have made about the "vacuum's" in the "official" explanations. Regardless of their explanations, how many holes does a story need to be FICTION you ask......ONE!!! Of all the accounts of that horrific day you only need one untruth to make the "official" story fiction. So are all of these theories a farce? I don't care if the day is used for the invasion of Iraq, Iran or the rest of the world, the FACT remains that they produced a 2 hour long doc. (which is almost longer than all the "conspiracy"video's) playing on words and far-fetched ideas of payed government officials to counter the Truth! And that TRUTH is that our supposed government is the source of terrorism!!! They are scared and proved it by making this ridiculous documentary. Let's see them refute Guantanamo, put out a doc. on that! FOLLOW US HOME, how can somebody follow you home if they are already there? And people need to remember that this is not just Bush, he's the easy one to blame everything on AND THEY KNOW THAT!! That's why they chose him, an ignorant religious cowboy from hell!!! So let us not forget as Fantasy President Election Day approaches that they want you to see things like this doc., right before another anniversary, because they hope you will only see the follies of this administration and elect a "savior" to the next. Don't be fooled!!! The next is a setup just like this one was!!! WHO CARES WHO DID THIS, THE FACT REMAINS THAT 30-40% OF THE SHEEP THEY GOVERN THINK THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE IF AMERICA RULED IT ALL!! FOR A COUNTRY BASED ON DIVERSITY WHERE WOULD THAT BE IF THE LATTER REALLY HAPPENED?
