O'Reilly's proof of liberal hate equal to that of the Nazis and Klan? The following comments from Daily Kos:
"The world would be better off without him." (regarding return of Tony Snow's cancer) "The pope is a primate." "Evangelicals are nut cases." "Better luck next time." (regarding a failed assassination of Vice President Cheney in Afghanistan) "Some attacks against coalition forces in Iraq are legitimate."
But wait. O'Reilly also has two photos to prove how much DailyKos is like the Nazis. Lat week O'Reilly showed the first photo of President Bush buggering an animal. Obviously, the photo was doctored.
Then, after days of hype, O'Reilly revealed his coup de grace. A photo that he said was the vilest imaginable and proved how much Daily Kos was full of hate. Here's the photo.
That's it. That's O'Reilly's proof that Daily Kos is so full of hate that it is no different from the Klan and Nazis. Is Bill so far gone that he doesn't know the difference between sophomoric satire and the likes of or
Does O'Reilly really think that a poorly done photo in very poor taste is more vile than
If so, then O'Reilly must have lost his grip as much as Pat Robertson who said
"Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. It's no different. It is the same thing. It is happening all over again. It is the Democratic Congress, the liberal-based media and the homosexuals who want to destroy the Christians. Wholesale abuse and discrimination and the worst bigotry directed toward any group in America today. More terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history."
Evangelical Christians are suffering at the hands of liberals more than the Jews suffered under the Nazis? Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have suffered more than Afro-Americans? Daily Kos is as full of hate as the Klan and Nazis?
I will kiss Bill O'Reilly's a$$ on live television if he can show - not tell - that major liberal politicos, preachers or pundits say stupid $#!+ like:
B. 1952, GA, USA. D. To Be Determined. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, lover, confidant and friend of many from bikers to Zen masters; American writer and speaker, known for his criticism of Mammon's unholy trinity of big business, big government and big religion; served the least of them professionally as psychologist and voluntarily as activist for decades; loved to shoot basketball, billiards and the bull; lived free, died game. (memorial sketch by davidhewsonart.com)
I commend you for challenging the "Challenged in Chief of talk radio" but it wont do you any good. O'Leilly is a God unto himself.
If you remember, when the Iraq War broke out, O'Leilly, Malkin, and several other Republican news repeaters went on the air spouting the Republican mantra of why the war was a good thing.
At that time I wrote emails to O'Leilly and the rest of the Republican news repeaters asking all of them to put up or shut up.
Being a Vet, I felt it was important for Republican news repeaters that had never expierienced war and was speaking about how great this war was, to actually expeirience it first hand.
I sent an email to all the Republican news repeaters asking them to Put Up or Shut Up. I told them to join the Army or Marines, their choice, go to Iraq and fight, then come back and tell me how great the war was.
As you've already deduced, not one of the non-serving Republican news repeaters volunteered for service.
I'm sorry to break it to you Richard but Bill O'Leilly and his ilk wont put up or shut up.

I think OReilly should also have to put up or shut up about the afadavit that a female staff member of his wrote in which she said that he called her at night and aparently masturbated while talking on the telephone to her. She also allleged a lot of other vulgarities. I am sure that the afadavit is still archieved somewhere on the internet. He and Fox News settled the sexual harassment suit and OReilly s comment was something "Hey guys, I came on a little strong, you know how it is." Yes, I understand how it is, Bill. You did not deny a word of the afadavit, so I can only assume that it is all true. This kind of behavior would be considered weird even coming from a boy in junior high school, but an adult man? You are a pervert. That is the only way that I can make sense of it. This is the Face of Fox News. A pervert. Put up or shut up Bill. Tell me that it is not true or explain why that behavior was OK.

The affadavit is disgusting in that it describes O'Reilly's behavior which is disgusting. What is truly amazing is how many loudmouths scream about other people but never do anything about their own behavior. I believe O'Reilly is so far gone that he actually believes that he is some type of mythical hero.

I would love to ignore his ilk and him entirely. Ignore and let ignore. Unfortunately, O'Reilly et al refuse to ignore my kind, namely liberals, and let us be. For many liberals, culture war is a metaphor. For people like O'Reilly, it is a literal war which they will only end by the silencing of liberals. After having gathered tons of quotes, there has been a systematic and sustained effort by the right wing to marginalize and demonize liberals and to make acceptable open hostility and hatred toward liberals. We tried to ignore the Moral Majority and Ronald Regan got elected. We tried to ignore Pat Robertson and we got the religious right taking over the Republican Party and government. We tried to ignore Fox News and Iraq is the result. While I would love to ignore O'Reilly, Coulter, etc., to do so would be at my own peril.
