The next time a democratic candidate asks, what can I do for you? I will say, You can’t stand down a rogue administration and restore habeas corpus. You can’t cut off funding for the illegal occupation of Iraq. You can’t stop the NSA from spying on Americans who have done no wrong. You can’t stop the Bush gang from throwing people into secret prisons without judicial review. You can’t get the Bush gang to denounce the use of torture in interrogating prisoners. You can’t stop the Bush cabal from giving tax breaks to billionaires while bankrupting this country while conducting adventurous wars while the true enemies escape to Pakistan. You can’t mandate that U.S. troops receive at least as much time at home as they are deployed. You can’t stop this neo-con batch of Republicans from denying Washington, D.C. representation in congress. You can’t pass a bill that covers almost 50 million Americans without health Insurance. Yon can’t stop corporate welfare that rewards corporations that ship American jobs overseas. You can’t pass legislation that would protect our vote from manipulation by hackers. You can’t pass legislation that would provide publicly financed elections. Yes, my response will be I don’t know what can you do??? Peace and Liberty through intelligence, strength, and integrity.
I am a Musician, political Junkie, Father, Husband, who cares very much about the United States of America and what is being done to the Ideals and citizens of this great Nation. I want to restore the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to what the founders of this nation intended to protect us from. I was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and I now reside in Florida. I am tired of the media being manipulated by Faux News and right wing propaganda that leading our Democracy into the moral and financial abyss. I want the American people to wake up and take back this country to restore it to be a beacon of freedom and liberty to the world again.
