But I know that you - the person reading this article - the person listening to my cellphone call to my parents and brother in England - the person cataloging the phone calls I make - the person cross-referencing the data to my credit report and my frequent purchases at the local liquor store and my balance owed to the IRS (I 'm paying it next week, you can afford those AK47 's,no sweat) and that misguided call mentioning marijuana 4 years ago before I quit smoking are just that; PEOPLE.

You are a real person. And I respect that.

You kiss your family goodbye, tighten the tie in the SUV on the commute, swipe your security card and settle in your cube for an 8-hour shift, just like me.

Just want to make sure you know I 'm really sorry about publishing articles on this website. I am not a terrorist. I 'm just a harmless lefty.

So PLEASE don 't tell Mr Negroponte or Mr Cheney about me. There 's no need. Please renew my green card in 2008 and I promise I 'll never dissent again. I just want to stay here in peace and take my 6-year-old son to teeball games and the park and the zoo.
