One thing I do believe in is keeping the President’s children out of the controversy - and respecting his wish that his children be left alone. President Clinton felt the same way, and I concur. I also strongly believe that a President’s sexual business is his own, just as it is with Corporate CEO’s who run Fortune 500 Corporations; Investors could care less what the CEO does in his free time, but are only concerned with the bottom-line, and I believe this concept should be applied to sitting President’s as well. Run our country and keep the nation prosperous and free from danger, and I personally don’t care what they do in their spare time.

ONE of the twin daughters of President George W Bush has spoken of the heartbreak she feels about the Iraq war and the criticism of her father. “He is a totally different person to me than what they portray him as,” said Jenna Bush. “I mean, he’s my dad.”
The party girl who stuck her tongue out at reporters and was charged with underage drinking publishes a book this week called Ana’s Story, about an HIV-positive teenage mother whom she encountered on her travels in Central America with Unicef.
Jenna, 25, who is known as the “blonde one” of the Bush twins, has found her sober side. Asked about Unicef’s report that 4m Iraqis had fled their homes since the invasion of Iraq, she said: “Nobody wants war. I definitely, and my father doesn’t want war. But it’s a horribly complicated situation.” She added: “I can say it’s devastating . . . I think everybody can agree on that . . . Obviously, all of this breaks my heart.”
Among the experiences that affected her deeply was visiting wounded veterans of the war with her father. “I’ve gone with him to Walter Reed hospital and I’ve seen his face after he’s left the hospital. He would have to be inhuman not to feel it. I mean, of course things weigh on him. Of course they do.” MORE
I remember when the Bush twins were brought into the headlines because they were caught drinking while underage, and the press made a big deal out of it, which I found to be repulsive. I am a father of three sons, two of which are identical twins - all who are now over the age of twenty-one. Parents send their children to college, and for the first time, teenagers are away from home, and how many of us can say with a straight-face that our children didn’t do the same thing when they were young? It’s part of growing-up, and to expect that the children of a sitting President are somehow “above being normal” is absurd, petty, and is one of the more vicious aspects of politics that turns my stomach.
Personally Jenna, I believe you were sincere, and some of the comments that accompanied the article disgusted me; I must admit that I am one of “those people” that despise your father, however I am flabbergasted that people can’t comprehend that any daughter that loves her father, no matter what I or the rest of the world think of him - would be “heart-broken” to witness that he is one of the most hated President’s in American history, and throughout the world, he is loathed and feared, viewed as a war criminal and imperialist - and millions of people around the world are fearful that George W, Bush, your father, is intent on starting World War III, not as a matter of national security, but for power and monetary gain.
If you were truly sincere Jenna, please take this article and sit-down with your Dad and ask him to explain some of the issues I’ll raise to you, and please, ask him to hold a news conference and explain it to the American people as well. Most of us feel betrayed by your father, and the nation deserves an explanation of his behavior. Your father was elected to represent the people, and that was not an open-ticket to implement policies that the majority of the American population disagrees with, including the conservative Republicans that helped to place him in office. I’m guessing that you have been taught by your parents that most of the news is biased, and only Fox News is worth watching… If that’s the case, please take the plunge and read some real news, not just what your Dad wants you to see. Have you read any of the alternative news sites on the Internet, or do you believe what Fox New reports upon is really the truth? I’m positive your father doesn’t tell you everything, but have you taken it on yourself to see if any of the allegations against him and Cheney are true?
Your father told us that lowering the taxes on the wealthy and corporations would invigorate the economy. One of the reasons he gave to us was that corporations, with less tax burden, would be able to spend more money on modernization, pay higher wages, etc. - and it was necessary to keep the economy healthy. Those corporations did raise their bottom line, and yes, they did invest heavily in new factories and jobs - all to be built and outsourced to foreign nations simply because they will work for less than the American work force that built this country from the ground up!
Your father did nothing to stop corporate America from outsourcing our industry and factories to foreign lands and the devastation it has rendered on the economy may take decades to recover from - if it’s even possible. Millions of American workers have lost their jobs, health coverage, and benefits because of your father’s policies and millions are falling into poverty each year while the Middle-class of America is being raped and robbed of everything they worked for all their lives. Now they have to work two, sometimes three low paying jobs just to make ends meet, and millions of those are unable to keep from falling into poverty. The rich are becoming richer and the poor and Middle-class are taking it on the chin, and their lives are being ripped asunder by the fact that your father does not represent the people, but only passes legislation that benefit the elite of America while the rest of us suffer. Ask your father why he did this to us.
Jenna, there’ a whole list of things we would like to ask your Dad, but last night, while reading an article on Op-Ed News, I came across some of the most chilling news I have ever read in my life - and I would like you to ask your father about this issue in particular.
