A new poll says that 30% of Americans already know who they are going to vote for. It's more than a year away from "Fantasy President Election Day" and already people know who they want to be their "saviour"!

I say "saviour", because, people want to believe that the next leader of the supposed "free world" is going to solve all of our problems. This couldn't be farther from reality. Wake up! The next one isn't going to change a thing!

You thought an all Dem house would do it and you see how far that made it.

These candidates waging war on each other, so early in the game, on the premise of, " I voted no on the war" or " I voted no on the funding" or "did I do that?".

Are you really going to vote for the next man or woman that says they are the "Big Fix" to what this administration has done? Has anything changed in the past 50years of administrations promising, "Read My Lips"? NO! I've read their lying lips long enough to know that they do what they want, and each administration sets things in motion on purpose for the next.

If this weren't true, American government would be likened to having A.D.H.D., because, change would be an everyday occurrence. So I plead with all intelligent, informed minds, to not believe the "Obamamania" or the Clinton "mommy government" machine, the Giuliani exploitations or an other candidates double-talk!

They are not going to save you! Any more than Christ is coming to take you from this evil world because you're such a good christian person.

The 21st century infinite war machine is here to stay regardless of what lie you believe this time around.

No "U.S. Messiah" is going to come stop this violence, especially one with blood money lined pockets as deep as these fools!!!

There are no rescuers to the rescue

Any more than Christ is coming to take you from this evil world because you're such a good christian person.

One thing is true.  By their beliefs, Christ sure as hell isn't coming to rescue me, I'm not one of them.  I'm my own person with my own beliefs and standards.   He's not coming to rescue them either.  Only they/we can rescue ourselves. 

They are what I am, only they don't know it.  A person born without religion, adopting the beliefs of her parents and then realizing it's all b.s.  Religion may be more divisive than ethnicity.

Right now the Dem front runners are being castigated for not setting a withdrawal deadline.  I wonder if anyone has considered that they can't, and that they are telling the truth.  That the future can't be foretold; if it could tarot card readers would all be zillionaires.

The truth is they don't know what the situation will be in 16 minutes or 16 months, or what god-awful things Georgie will do between now and January '09.  One thing's for sure, he won't kiss the girls and make them cry.  Of course, there's always the chance he'll drop a few bombs and us all cry.

Maybe the candidates are telling the truth and the castigators are in denial, or have been lied to so often they wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on the ass.

Two things to remember: W. has already annointed himself God-in-Chief and at his whim can suspend Congress, cancel the elections and declare martial law.

And, like everything else in his life that he's botched up, he gets bored with it and moves on to the next thing to screw up, and that's Iran.  Instead of Daddy bailing him out of Iraq, he just might think that Iran will.  But, then he's certifiable.

Too scary a scenario

Talk about Bush's brain.  Think The Brain was drained of oxygen during his many heart attacks...if he really has a heart.  Certainly not one w/a soul attached to it.  If he has a soul it's spelled sole so he can kick us with it.

Very Insightful Work

This is a very insightful commentary - thank you. I also do not belong to an organized religion because I believe they are all man-made creations that have their roots in greed. One's spirituality does not depend on a man-made state-sponsored religion. In fact, more horror has been perpetrated on the world in the name of religion than I care to think about. We are in this sorry state of affairs due to people who count money as their religion of choice, and think that whatever "supreme deity" they worship is supporting them in their efforts to bring about the war of Gog and Magog. This is irony at its finest. The people who are working to bring about this war are under the delusion that right is wrong and wrong is right. When all is said and done, I think they will be in for a surprise.
