Obama Beware

People’s memories are short. But, I can remember vividly the news story of Vince Foster being found dead in his car in a park in DC during Bill Clintons first term as President! The Clinton administration called it a suicide; the rumor on the street was however, that the Clintons had arranged his death. Apparently he had been Hillary’s lover while they both worked at the Rose law firm. He knew too much, and was ready to turn on them. In short, he was a threat.

In comes, Obama, another threat. He is not only a threat to Hillary’s presidential ambitions; but more importantly, his promise to withdraw troops from Iraq, will leave Iraq essentially in the hands of Iran’s Shiite militias and thus will enable Iran to establish a direct land bridge directly to Syria … and in turn present a viable military threat to Israel right on its border.

This past week Hillary, once again pandered to the Jewish lobby in the US…the same lobby that cleared out her husbands legal costs in the Lewinsky case; and the same lobby that helped her get a New York Senate seat … by declaring that if Iran attacked Israel, the United States would obliterate Iran.

The point is, the Clintons are clear protectorates of Jewish interests in the United States AND, they will not hesitate to play dirty if they have to, in order to gain power.

Ever since the Camp David accord, which left Egypt neutralized, there really has not been a viable threat to Israel. As a result, Israel has not been truly interested in the peace process. And with the political power that the Jewish Lobby enjoys in the United States, there has been no external pressure to make any deal. The one time, Bill Clinton put some pressure on Israel (during Netenyahu’s term), he was slapped with a Jewish Physician (Lewinski)’s daughter’s sexual forays… that mushroomed into the Lewinski scandal. And, it was finally cleaned up with money from another Jewish group…once Clinton backed off Israel. Hillary, clearly, is completely in Israel’s pocket.

It is amazing to see the media now turn against Obama. Obama's every comments like most recently calling a reporter "sweatie" gets twisted arround by the media. The same media that was once thrilled to see any serious Democratic Party challenge to Bush (whose Iraq Invasion has actually destabilized the region, and decreased Israel’s security). The non-issues of Reverend Wright and Obama’s patriotism are now at the forefront of daily media stories! The Jewish lobby is once again at work, trying to lift up their candidate (Hillary), using every trick in the book.

The fundamental facts are, however, that Hillary’s ascendance is now mathematically flawed. There are really very few options for her going forward. But, everyone that knows the Clintons, knows not to rule them out. So the question is what tricks are left up her sleeve? What can she do?

Might they redo the Florida or Michigan primaries? Will enough super-delegates come forward in support of Hillary? The simple answer is clearly, No and No!

There is really only one way out …she has to bump off Obama! Yes, call Luigi or Guido in her home State of New York and bump him off. (That's a joke) But what other options are left for her? Why is she still running?

Could she do that? Might she do that? I really would not put it past her and her supporters. The very existence of the State of Israel is in question, my friends. If Israelis can take a bomber jets on training flights and bomb the Gaza strip daily, killing women and children mercilessly; if they can kill 42 toddlers at a school in Lebanon; surely bumping off Obama is peanuts for them. They would do it in a New York minute.

Obama will then go down in the annals of US history as another figure like Martin Luther King. There will be Bank Holidays named after him, and streets in rough neighborhoods named after him …but bottom line, she can claim her spot as the heir to the Democratic Nomination….at a time when George Bush has hit a record as the Most Unpopular Sitting President EVER! She will go to protect Israel, and maintain troops in Iraq.

The Irony of all this is that the Neo- Conservatives, Wolfowitz, Perleman, etc. (which is a polite way of saying “right wing Jews in the administration”) were in fact the ones that pushed hard for an Iraq invasion. Saddam Hussein was, after all, positioning missiles towards Israel. He was a threat to Israel. But at least he was contained, and he was a buffer against Iranian hegemony in the Middle East. Not a single Neo-conservative considered the what-if scenario AFTER Saddam’s fall.

Everyone forgets that while the Persian Gulf has Arab states to its south, EVERY ONE OF THOSE LITERAL STATES have Shiite majorities and are ruled by Sunni Ruling families. Containing the power of Iran’s mullahs is a critical issue not only for Israel, but also every one of Iraq’s Persian Gulf neighboring states.

There is simply too much at risk for Israel right now if the U.S. withdraws. On the other hand, can the U.S. tax payer continue to foot the bill of a perpetual occupation? Do we have enough troops to rotate through Iraq for a 4th or 5th or 6th time? Is occupation a viable long-term strategy? Why is protecting Israel (a chunk of dry dessert with no minerals or resources of any strategic value to the US) a primary duty of the United States? Is maintaining U.S. troops in Iraq in America’s interests?

The bottom line is the United States is between a rock and a hard place. There are no easy options. Anyone who dares speak of a withdrawal, and has access to power (i.e. Obama) is in peril. No one these days, it seems, can be independent enough to truly weigh America’s interests versus Israel’s.

Even Obama, knows all this and had to come out and declare that if “Iran attacked Israel, the United States would take appropriate action”. Was that enough? Who knows?
