"That's It Then!"

"Well, that's it then," I says to myself
I says to myself, "That's it!"

I says, "The environment's about done in!"
"And so's the Constitution!"

I says, "The barbarians are at the gates!"
"And villains are at the helm of the ship of state!"

I says, "The citizens are restless, but they're still half asleep!"
"And the press is too concerned with who manages it's keep!"

"So, I asks myself, what's a hearty man or woman to do?"
"How much more can a healthy mind and heart take?"

And I ask myself, " What's the right and good solution?"
"What's the way to fight against the deadly pollution?"
"What's the way to end the never ending corruption?"
"What's the way save our precious Constitution?"

Then the answer comes to myself, and I answers myself,
"Revolution!" "That's the solution!"

"Non-violent it should be!" "But a revolution, nonetheless!"

"A revolution in the streets, a revolution in the heart, a revolution in the press!"

"A revolution in the home, a revolution in Congress, a revolution of ultimate redress!"

"A revolution in the military, a revolution in the workplace, a revolution with everyone we meet!"

"A revolution that turns everything around on this one-way, wrong-way, street!"

"So, that's it then!" I says to myself
"That's it!" I says

And I say it to you, by gum!
