Madam Senator, How Is It That You Allowed Yourself To Be Misinformed. We Didn't.

How is it that so many ordinary Americans from all walks of life, professors, bus drivers, mailmen, office workers of all classes, musicians, artists, transit and other services workers etc. did not believe that we were invading Iraq because Saddam still had the weapons of mass destruction that Reagan sold him?

You acquiesced to an international war crime, and we all watched the pyrotechnical show over Bagdad on TV. We did not see the TV coverage and newspaper photos of the heartbreaking amount of Iraqi dead and wounded from our nation's cruel bombing seen in other countries around the world. Our corporate free press protects us from seeing the nasty things that we do, and prints your disclaimer of war responsibility without comment or criticism.

The Senator's "I was misinformed." sounds like the "I didn't know!" of so many German leaders protesting innocence after the Holocaust.

It didn't wash then. It doesn't wash now. Sorry!
Your incredulous constituent
