“Good morning Allah, May Salutations Be Upon You, God the Father here. I thought it was time that I and my son Jesus here, gave you a call about conditions and attitudes there on the Blue Planet with a Hint of Green.”

"GTF, Oh most excellent to hear from you. For sure, all day long I hear myself being praised, as does yourself no doubt, but I also am well aware of my children's terrible behavior. So good to hear from you, although you know we are one and the same I trust."

"Oh yes of course, this is a bit like talking to myself. We both know that, but it seems our friends on the Blue Planet with a Hint of Green do not."

"Yes we both know it's time to speak up, even though we are One, for which I have always been eternally, no pun intended, grateful! I have taken the liberty to set up a conference call and Jesus is on the line as well."

"Oh most excellent! Good morning Jesus, so nice to talk again. I so enjoyed our last time together where we reaffirmed our oneness. Actually I have taken the liberty as well to put all our good friend, Sidharta Gautama the Buddah on the line as well. If anyone understands our Oneness, it is the Buddah."

"Greetings Sidharta! Thank you so much for joining us, GTF and Jesus here. We agree it is time to write the Blue Planet and since we are now all non-local in our abilities to communicate with time and space meaning nothing, Praise be Allah, Glory to God, Jesus be Praised and Buddah be in You, let us begin."

"Ooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm"

Dearest Residents of the One Blue Planet with Hints of Green.

What on earth is going on with you people? Here we four sit all day, as you mark time, we don't, and listen to you calling on us, praising us, asking us for things claiming to represent us to others and spending a fortune sending yourselves all over the planet in our name, and look at the mess you have caused each other. We are not pleased and it's time you all sat down and thought your emotions, perspectives and actions towards each other over big time.

We are ONE and it's about time for you to realize that you are ONE as well and each individual is a segment of the ONE, all attached and equal. As one of your own noted well, however,

"Anyone who engages in the practice of psychotherapy confronts every day the devastation wrought by the teachings of religion."

Nathaniel Branden

We came to you with Spirituality to bring you to the ONE and you turned it into a religion, a business and in many instances, a torture and killing machine. We are so sorry that as a spirit, stuck with a mere five basic and limited senses, trapped in a carbon based wet suit of our design, you are missing the point of your lives. For even as the part of the ONE sent to bring you light said,

"There are no lengths to which some people will not go to avoid the real labor of thinking."

Thomas A. Edison and we find this all too true. It is time to THINK and remember who you ALL really are. You are all ONE.

You make so much of your different colors, textures and tones as if somehow that makes you different from the One. All we have to say to that is MELANIN, and the process of moving out of your Africa to the northern lands on your journey as spirits over what you experience as time. Color is nothing. Do you understand? NOTHING. Mere chemistry to equip you for survival on different parts of the Great Blue Planet with Hints of Green. Yet you have made it something to divide you and to judge the worth of yourselves by. We would all laugh if it was not such a pathetic outlook and you need to think again the part your limited minds play in your own misery. For even as one of your own and brilliant parts of the One said,

Just a lonely truck driver in Ohio with too much time to think
JiffyJust a lonely truck driver in Ohio with too much time to think

Good article

I like this article. It points out the clear difference between religion and spirituality. All spiritual faiths are good and true but when you try to build a religion, things always get distorted. The difference lies in the fact that spirituality draws on a faith or multiple faiths to help one find his or her own path to enlightenment. Religion on the other hand tries to do the work for you thus sidetracking ones individual path. Although most religions were probably founded with good intent, the human equation tends to distort. People have to find enlightenment their own way. That's not to say religion has never helped anyone. I just think people should learn to find the place within themselves that expresses right from wrong instead of relying on some religious dogma. I have always been troubled when people point to a book, (paper, cardboard and ink) and tell me "this is the word of God". The word of God resides within us. It's that part of you that feels truly good when you have done or are doing something righteous. It is that wonderful feeling you get when you truly find peace and forgiveness. It is that yearning to help expand goodness within and around you.

Thanks for this article. It's good food for thought.

Peace

Religion vs Spirituality

Thanks and I agree.  Religion is what others pour into you to gain compliance and do so with fear, shame and guilt all too often.  Spirituality is an inside job and does not require one to belong to an organization, comply with the ideas of others on topics one can draw their own conclusions about, and certainly does not need 10% of my income given to the guru.  We have lost our way with Evangelical Literalism and all religion does is multiply by division and add to itself by subtracting common sense from the equation.

Bravo! Love your style

Being as well read as I am in regards to Ingersol, The Bible and Asimov.

I  applaud your references to them.

The real striking thing about your letter is that the reason I am an Atheist is because I actually read the Bible front to back.

I then read Ingersol which solidified my conviction on religion.

I am also an avid or atleast I once was an avid Sci Fi reader. Not the same stuff these days.

And I must say the Discover and science channel has confirmed to me. that indeed I am the same as you and everything else.. STAR STUFF manufactured in the dying throws of our celestrial mother Stars...  :-)

You sound familiar!

I 'd say we are kindred spirits.  You think and like all the same things I do evidently.   If I had a TV anymore, I got rid of it and use the laptop, I'd only have Discovery, History and Maybe a couple of other channels.  The rest is rather mindless talking heads and sell me something stuff.   Thanks for the comment.

WAKE UP Christians!

She picked up her red guitar then strummed the chords to "All Along the Watchtower" and began to sing just a breath above a whisper:

"All I've got is a red guitar, Three chords and The Truth.

All I've got is my bleedin' heart, and a voice cryin' out

of the wilderness to you

I see there is a way out of here,

a way to get some relief

Listen to me, all you little one's, come in here:

Listen to me;

I AM very small, I AM so very very small,

So small as to indwell the heart of every atom,

and I AM beyond your comprehension...

Listen to me;

 I hear Wisdom calling from the highest point of the city;

*'Wisdom has built her house and She calls to all; "Come, eat my food and drink my wine and you will live abundant life and walk in the ways of understanding." [*Proverbs 9: 4-6]

Wisdom calls; "I have built it; will you come? Do you have eyes to see and ears to hear?

Holy Wisdom, the Feminine Divinity: Hokema,

Who was with The Word from the very beginning,

She is One with Him and He with Her;

Pure Being; One God;

One Creator; One Lover of All the Human Family...

Brother, I see you lookin' at me like you think I've skated off the edge and maybe I have,

what's it to you?

but let me tell a little story to illuminate you

 if you haven't heard

the one about the Rabbi Hillel,

who lived 100 years before The Christ walked the earth

let me tell you,

that wise Rabbi knew that the Hebrew understanding of Hokema; Holy Wisdom; The Feminine Divinty

was the same as the Greek understanding of The Logos: The Word.

It was Paul and John who first understood

The Word was good and

The Word was The Logos

The Word is The Christ

It was John on Rubber Soul who intuitively knew:

"The Word is just The Way and The Word is Love"

Little children, listen to me and use your imagination,

can't you see that before Christ walked the earth a man,

He was already a She: Hokema, Holy Wisdom; the Feminine Divinity

and isn't that good news?

The God Head is One Pure Being;

as much male as female

as much mommy as daddy.

And we are all children of Her Universe;

And **He is the oldest personality because He is the origin of everything;

and everything is born of Him.

He is the supreme controller of the universe,

the maintainer and instructor of humanity.

He is smaller than the smallest.[**Bhagavad-Gita]

He indwells the heart of every atom and

She is beyond the Universe.

Wisdom is calling,

She is rattling  your windows and shaking your walls

With some more good news of the

three witnesses,

and three always beats one

and not just that,

I've got a fourth.

Get out your Good Book sisters and brothers and chew on this;

 Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:28-29, and Luke 12:10

are simpatico with gnostic Thomas saying 44:

'Jesus said: "Whoever blasphemes against the father will be forgiven, whoever blasphemes against the son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven either on earth or in heaven."

Listen to me, God is within every sister, brother and all Creation,

wake up to your own divinity and

Get a clue Christian:

His ways are not your ways and Her thoughts are not your thoughts

Dominion never meant to rape and plunder,

but to nurture, care and love

And if you have not love, you have nothing at all

And on that final day we all will stand naked before The Creator

And we have been warned that there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth

by those who were so sure they were in, because they are the ones left out.

WAKE UP Christian!

Hear the wind begin to howl."

A Buddhist story

goes something like this: Once Buddha was meditating inside a hut with loyal Ananda watching the door. Suddenly approaching the hut was Mara, the tempter, with whom Buddha had undergone tremendous struggle in order to become enlightened. Ananda saw Mara and called out for him to stop at once. But Mara kept coming, saying "I've got to see Buddha." "No," cried Ananda, wanting to protect Buddha from facing again the lord of temptation and evil. "Mara, is that you?" Buddha calls out from inside the hut. "Let Mara in." Ananda was shocked to see Buddha greet Mara as an old and dear friend.

"Buddha," said Mara, "you've got to let me out of the deal. I just can't keep on."

"Mara, it's hard for both of us, but you have got to stay strong and keep on."

"Hard for both of us?" Mara angrily asked. "Hell, Buddha, you don't know what it's like, them doing all kind of stupid, mean stuff and then blaming it on me. They do every kind of vile, despicable, low-down, money-grubbing, back-stabbing crime that comes to mind. But do they ever take responsibility for their actions? Of course not, they blame it all on me, the evil one."

"You think that's bad, old friend. Instead of personifying evil, try being me, their embodiment of good and holy. Then have them do all that they do in my name and for the greater good. Torture, plunder, oppression, conquest, empire, war without end. I tell you, I just can't get a break."
