Bush has photos of Pelosi doing… WHAT?

Here's the situation Nancy Pelosi finds herself in.  A full 54% of Americans and 76% of Democrats want Dick Cheney impeached.  Cheney's 13% favorability makes him the least popular president or vice president ever.  The Washington Post reports that Republicans are turning against Cheney.  By failing to act, the Democratic Congress has made itself less popular than Bush.  Were the Congress to impeach Cheney and the Senate to acquit him, the Democrats would win a significant majority in the Senate because the public would toss some Republicans who voted for Cheney out on their asses.  So, the Democrats would not just do the right thing for the future of our nation but achieve electoral victories by moving on impeachment, whether they manage to succeed with it or not.  There's no known downside to trying.

Could there be an unknown downside?  Could there be a reason we don't know about to explain Pelosi's unconstitutional position that Congress will not impeach no matter what?  Couldn't Pelosi point out at least that she was only talking about Bush?  Couldn't she allow justice to run its course for Cheney?

Could it be that Bush and Cheney have photos of Nancy Pelosi doing something she wouldn't want us to see?

I tend to doubt it.  I think Pelosi actually believes that the way to win elections is to spit in the faces of three-quarters of your voters, and that elections matter more than upholding the rule of law.  But it's important to investigate all possibilities.

Now, when the Bush Administration had complete control of a Senate office building following the anthrax incident, it could only have found dirt on Pelosi that at least one Senator also possessed.  And which Senator has most frequently bellowed about how he was about to stand up to Bush and Cheney and then shrunk away and done the opposite?

Arlen Specter seems like exactly Nancy Pelosi's type.  He straddles the aisle, tries to please everyone, ends up pissing everyone off, and accomplishes nothing in the end.  So far be it from me to suggest anything inappropriate may have occurred, but the circumstantial evidence certainly points in the direction of a political romance.

Still, this being Washington, the probability always has to be that the sexual secrets are homosexual secrets.  So probably it's a woman we should be looking for.  And, while I would never condone such speculation, I would be remiss if I did not make note here that the possibilities of both animals and aliens have been raised, I think more out of frustration with Pelosi's actions in Congress than on the basis of any evidence.

(Nancy, are you beginning to get the idea that what we can image about you is worse than whatever is holding you back on impeachment?)

And, of course, no Senator need be involved in whatever scandalous thing Pelosi has done.  When Bush tossed aside the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, it wasn't in order to spy on terrorists more quickly than the law allowed, since the law allowed retroactive warrants and nothing is faster than that.  It was clearly to do what the law was put in place to prevent: spy on political opponents.  Bush almost certainly knows something of Pelosi's telephone, Email, and snail mail communications.  Congressional Email is run by Lockheed Martin for godsake.  Such communications could contain anything.

Maybe there's some financial scandal waiting in the wings to scandalize us.  You don't come to lead a political party in the age of the almighty dollar without touching a lot of dirty money.  Maybe there's some embarrassing comment.  Maybe Pelosi told her closest friend of the phone some words she wouldn't want known, like:

"For people who seriously believe in God and all that crap…"
or
"If we keep the war going till '08…"
or
"Oh, it's that bitch Hillary again…"

And there's the possibility, of course, that the Karl Rove Research Group has found out something else as well.  Perhaps Pelosi had an abortion as a teenager.  Perhaps someone she knows was involved in a hit-and-run accident and she kept quiet.  Who the hell knows?

Well, I have to believe someone knows, or at least someone can make it up.  So, until a better explanation is found, I'd like to ask patriotic Americans to post at http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/pelosiphotos what they believe Bush and Cheney have photos of Pelosi doing.  And, please, nothing obscene.  This is war time after all.

A closer look at Pelosi's legislative agenda

could be more productive.

I don't think it IS Pelosi --

although she is utterly worthless as Speaker. I've thought for years that the Republicans have something on the Democratic Party. There's no other way to explain the idiocy of Democratic behavior that we've seen since 1984, at least. Why did they lay down for Iran/Contra? For BCCI? And the little creep who now lives in the White House gets the Democrats to lay down for SOMETHING every day of the week. Some ugly thing has crawled up that donkey's ass and died. It's rotten inside. We just see the buboes that rise from the surface, burst, and suppurate. We can't see what's causing them -- but the people who own the GOP know.

Democratic Rot

There is something going on in the Democratic, and it is probably money.  For instance, the chairwoman of the Democrats in Florida was found to be taking $3500 from Al Cardenas, former Republican state chair.  Meanwhile, she is busy finding primary opposition for grassroots Democrats who got on the ballot the last time using signatures, and without any help from her.  What is supposed to keep us from thinking these Democrats at the top are working for the Republicans?

Why photos? Anything can be created these days.

It's simply that Pelosi and a simple majority of both Democrats and Republicans have sold their souls. Always has been, and if the masses permit it, always will be. Here on OpEdNews we preach to the choir. I'm eternally in debt to those who dare speak their minds and those that provide this forum. I just wish many more could be exposed to those who post to these forums, whether we agree with them or not. It's the thinking that leads to action.

I, Too, Want To Know

I want to know what Carl Rove has on everybody including his own, you know... the ones they eat all the time...like John McCain.

How did they get him to stand beside W. during the '04 campaign after they chewed him up and spat him out in '00.

McCain stood on podiums with W. and uttered words of support while the dour expression on his face said he'd rather be undergoing root canal without novocain.

Of course they're spying on Congress

Karl Rove's hero is Mark Hannah, who originated dirty tricks. I'm sure the level of dirty tricks got elevated beyond what he originally imagined when BushCo took the reins of power, as the US has been using economic hit men (who promise unimaginable riches to those who play ball) and jackals (murderers who swing into action when the targets aren't corrupted by the EHM) overseas for more than a generation. What's to stop them in the US? The RICO administration doesn't think laws apply to them, and they have rigged the system so that's possibly true. I suspect the original illegal NSA wiretaps were on Congress, and the sociopaths in power have used the information thus gained to  blackmail the Congress into doing what it chooses. And if a member of Congress doesn't succumb to the "lobbyists" (EHM), then the jackals go into action. Please tell Conyers and Waxman not to get into any light planes.

Ridiculous!

This is by far the stupidest posting I have ever seen on any website of any stripe or political leaning.  You should be ashamed.

There are lots of reasons--rationales--for Pelosi to "take impeachment off the table."  Of course, none of them rise to the necessity for keeping impeachment on the table and in the Constitution, but to suggest that something sordid is afoot is to ignore everything but your own diseased mind.

Try counting votes, for one.  Try spinelessness, for two.  Try fear of reprisal, for three.  Try rub-their-faces in it politics for four.  Etc.

It's amazing

how many folks are still caught up in the myth of left v right, of Democrats v Republicans. This myth is the Great Distraction.

How many Dems are members of the CFR, the Trilateral Group? How many Presidential hopefuls have made their little journeys to the Bilderberg group? Who chooses who will even run for president with any chance to win. Who chooses those from among whom You get to 'choose'....?

Both parties are simply and mainly comprised of 'middle managers' reflecting the current tempo and interests of the elites.

Pelosi? She is doing precisely what she wishes to do. There is no reason to believe anybody has anything on Pelosi. She is what she is. A neoliberal. Turn that coin over and you get neocon.

RaeMother of 7, grandmother of 21, great grandmother of 41 and great-great grandmother of 2 and loving every minute of it. I want a better world for us all than the mess we have now.

Trilateralists & Bilderbergs & Pelosi.. etc..

You are so right on Medicis with the Trilateralist and Bilderbergs. The Trilateralists largly responsible for Carters Presidency..I'd be willing to bet they are also behind Hillary as well as the Bilderbergs..Bill Clinton being a member of that group since 1991 and previously to that a Trilateralist. Hillary was the first seated First Lady to ever attend a Bilderberg meeting. She is nothing but a phoney. The people will gain little with her in the White House...but Corporate would continue to prosper and rule. I would never vote for her. (not that our votes are counted any longer)

Pelosi is a huge disappointment and an embarassment to a Historical first in this Nation. The lobbying rule changes she patted herself on the back for was a pathetic joke..makes me wonder how much she has gained with that one, financially. I read she threatened John Conyers with loss of  his being House Judiciary Committee Chair unless he took Impeachment off the table.  How special is that? She has been a road block to much as far as I'm concerned. Sure good at tooting her own horn though.

It is my firm belief that we, the people, are being set up for martial law to be declared, sooner rather than later. Chertoff with his "gut feeling" (gag)..in his  clumsy, inept attempt to beat the fear drum in a Bushy way, was a public step to set the stage for another made in USA  'catastrophic event'  as excuse for the puppet masters to install their Presidential puppet as their front man Dictator, which he practices each time he opens his mouth.

Martial Law can be declared with anything they want to declare as a "catastrophic emergency".  That sure leaves a wide open agenda! (Bush with a hangover or a hangnail maybe?)

With the recent signing of the  Presidential Directives..which Bush probably can't spell much less comprehend in my opinion, they have revoked "Enduring government and continuety of Government Operation including all cell Annexes"..Rendering The House, Congress, State Governments, Indian Nations etc., and the people, castrated ! The last bullet in our Constitution. Our 'Secret Corporate Government' owning us and our country lock, stock and barrel.

By the way, does anyone know if it's true that Bush has purchased a home in another country that doesn't recognize extraditiion?

The lack of  HUGE outrage among the elected at the demise of our Constitutional rights and the lack of comprehensive, collective action to reverse that in a non partisan manner, (with the speed of a run away train).. indicates to me that old fashioned American values largely resides only within the American people.

Great Comments

I believe it's Panama...But I can't remember where I read it.

Today, I saw that the Iraqi Ambassador has purchased an apartment in Trump Tower...Look who got all the money that disappeared...or side deals from our wonderful contractors...

Anyway, we're screwed. Impeachment is our only hope to stop this insanity.

Bill Moyers did a Constitutional Crisis piece with Liberal and Conservative Scholars on Friday and being reaired on their sister stations. It is a must see. Available on Crooks & Liars and other .coms. If not read the Constitution, it's all there the right to impeach and it is the House of Representative that must start it.

Pelosi, I have seen some comments on her grandchildren being Jewish and that would make her align with Israeli-American strategies. I think she just supports it and is pretending she doesn't. Like other comments, it's all about money and reelection for herself. I'm so glad to see Cindy Sheehan going after her position.

Repubs, Dems both owned

Big money owns both parties.  Repubs have advantage, they are more ruthless, with the million killer Bushes.  The secret is, with all the worst stuff, they recruit the Dems to join them.

If everyone in the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court were sent to Iraq to face Justice, and all were hanged, at most a few dozen innocents would die (out of more than 500).    A lot more just than US death penalty system.

Didn't like the heading or this article so much

David.

You're one of the point men for impeachment. And overall I think you are doing an excellent job.

But your header makes you look like a slanderer at worst (there is no question mark even in it) and a desperado clutching at cliches at best. I don't say that's what you are I say that's what I think the header says and parts of the article which suggest sex with animals and homosexual liasions aren't offensive but just way off your usually better message.

Impeachment is serious business.  There are lots of rabble rousers that would vote for impeachment in a second if they were congressmen and that will call for impeachment using any and all means at their disposal including tactless and counterproductive ways sometimes but there are not yet enough articulate voices that can carry the cause forward in a way that won't alienate most of the people that will need to be persuaded.

Yours has and can be one of the better voices. If you have to write articles suggesting Bush has photos it would be better from the standpoint of preserving your effectiveness under your own name if you did it under a pseudonym.

I am on your side 100% with respect to impeachment, but I live in Australia - how can I help? Where do you think a person with some spare time and a determination to make a difference can best put that time to good use for impeachment?

You mean ask Aussies not to buy American goods?

That would make an impact if it could be done but I don't think it can.

Aussies are I think on the whole against the war now (notwithstanding John Howard's governments support for Bush) but like Americans most of them won't get out of their comfort zone enough to become activists and to get them to boycott American goods they have to know which were the American goods on the shelves that they were buying. I don't think there is an easy way to tell.

I am serious about wanting to help, but I don't have the skills or contacts to do this boycott thing and I really don't think it would work in Australia.

One only has to read responses to editiorials and opinion pieces in newspapers like The Australian (a Murdoch publication) to know that anti-Bush and anti-American sentiment is very strong, but its not easily organised. Nor is it necessarily enough to get people out of their comfort zones.

Strategically, I think the case for impeachment has got to be made even stronger than it has been to date. I think more evidence (from inquiries) and better writing about what has happened and more of it is still needed.

Average Australians like average Americans will almost boil to death before they detect that the political temperature has risen far enough for them to put aside their daily concerns - that is a bg part of the problem.  There are no war memories in the current generation here. Real hard times and family losses are rare.  The lessons of history are forgotten.  Things will have to get worse to snap  the  mood of complacency of John and Joan average citizen (who care about their mortgage and their job security) and by the time they wake up to threats to big esoteric stuff like their liberties and threats to the rule of law it is likely to be too late.

The Howard Government, which supported Bush, will probably be replaced here in November. Anti-Americanism is growing stronger but I don't think a boycott would be supported - sorry.
