ImpeachPAC, a federal PAC funding pro-impeachment candidates for Congress, has announced additional endorsements, including: James Wright, Democratic nominee in the Eighth District of Texas; Stacey Tallitsch, Democratic nominee in Louisiana's First District; Danny Stover, Democratic nominee in Illinois' 19th; Bill Glass, Democratic and Green nominee in North Carolina's Ninth; Steve Young, Democratic nominee in the 48th District of California; John Laesch, Democratic nominee in Illinois' 14th District; Florice Hoffman, Democratic nominee in the 40th District of California; Dr. Bob Bowman, the Democratic nominee in Florida's 15th; and Sharon Beery, Democratic nominee in California's 22nd.
"Impeachment may be taboo in Washington - even in Nancy Pelosi's office," said ImpeachPAC President Bob Fertik, "but candidates from Maine to California believe George Bush and Dick Cheney must be held accountable for their brazen defiance of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We salute these outstanding candidates and we are proud to support their passionate campaigns."
ImpeachPAC has previously endorsed four candidates for the House of Representatives and two for the U.S. Senate. ImpeachPAC is contributing at least $1,000 (more in some cases) to each of the new campaigns endorsed, and contributed $5,000 to each of those endorsed earlier. Earlier endorsees included: Tony Trupiano (MI-11), Bill Durston (CA-03), Jeeni Criscenzo (CA-49), Jean Hay Bright (Maine, Senate), and two candidates who have been defeated in primaries: Chris Owen (NY-11), and Carl Sheeler (RI, Senate).
Each of the candidates endorsed supports immediate impeachment hearings for President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Each of them has expressed this position publicly. Glass spoke at a large impeachment rally on September 30 in Charlotte, N.C. Young called for impeachment at a peace march on March 18th and plans to bring pro-impeachment signs to an upcoming parade for peace in Los Angeles. Wright's website makes impeachment his most prominent concern and offers citizens a form to use to Email Congress and ask for impeachment: http://www.wrightforcongress.net/petitions/pnum408.php
Laesch, who is challenging House Speaker Dennis Hastert in Illinois' 14th District, told Al Franken on his radio show that, once elected, his first act will be to call for an investigation into the lies Bush and Cheney told in launching the war, and then begin impeachment. Here's the clip: http://www.john06.com/media_files/alfrankenshow20060508.mp3
Beery has made impeachment one of the four main issues in her campaign and on her website http://www.sharonbeeryforcongress.com , where her position statement includes this: "When I am elected I will support the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney. If needed I will introduce Articles of Impeachment myself as one of my first duties as a Representative of Congress. I will do everything in my power to make sure Impeachment is not taken off the table." Beery told ImpeachPAC: "I think they should be impeached and then tried for treason and war crimes. And when I say that, people always cheer."
Wright, Tallitsch, and Glass have aired television advertisements produced by the People's Email Network. The ads flash the words "LIE" and "DIE" on the screen while describing the candidate's opponent's support for a war based on lies.

I have been so upset with Nancy Pelosi's assertion that the Democrats will not seek impeachment. [A typical misconception is to confuse it with involuntary removal from office; in fact it is only the legal statement of charges, parallelling an indictment in criminal law. An official who is impeached faces a second legislative vote (whether by the same body or another), which determines conviction, or failure to convict, on the charges embodied by the impeachment.] If evidence of any crimes committed against the Constitution, the American people, and its government by Bush, et al exist, they make Pelosi obligated by her oath of office to begin impeachment proceedings immediately. Politics be damned - partisan or otherwise. Who the hell does she think she is making promises she can not legally keep unless she is content to keep the GOP Rule Book in play? IT IS NOT PELOSI'S CALL TO MAKE, NOR IS IT HER BEST INTERESTS OR THE INTERESTS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOR HER TO TALK OUT HER ASS ABOUT IT!! The people of the state of California would be well within the law to initiate their own impeachment proceedings against her were she to turn her back on her legal obligations as a member of the legislative branch. I do not want a Democratic-led Congress or House Majority Leader that believes him/herself to be above the Constitution or its citizenry. WE'VE ALREADY GOT THAT! We have the GW Bush problem because Nixon was pardoned and GHW Bush's Iran-Contra crimes were ignored. GW would never have been Governor of Texas, let alone appointed president by the Supreme Court in 2000 if his lying, thieving, murdering father's illegal, murderous, thieving acts had been procsecuted to the fullest. The Bush family political dynasty must end here and now. As a part and parcel of the impeachment-conviction-sentencing process and because of the damage they and their cronies have done to our democracy spanning decades, all crimes must be exposed and all complicit in their commission prosecuted, even if it means sending two-thirds of them packing - Republican or Democrat. Iran Contra files must be opened and aired, as do the business relationships between the family, the Saudi royals, and especially the Carlyle Group. The Bush family's feeding at the taxpayer tit must end. As a condition of Bushes 41 and 43 punishments for treason and human rights atrocities, the Bush family must be driven from American politics forever. It is them or US.

Oh yeah! Who is Pelosi to think she has the right to play some sort of legislative goddess? If nothing else, one would think that there would still be a chip on the collective shoulders of the Democratic Party over the attempted impeachment of President Clinton because of a blowjob.
Oh yeah, I know, it's not the BJ, it's the lie. Puh-Leez! Firstly, it was no one's business but his and Monica's. Secondly, for the way they conducted the investigation, and the money they wasted, you'd have thought he pulled some of the shit that DUBYA did...like starting a war on lies, exposing a CIA operative and compromising covert operations, and so on.
There needn't be a serious investigation anyway. It's not like DUBYA has ever tried hard to cover his mendacity in the first place.
The point is, it is Pelosi's responsibility to investigate and impeach. This is even truer since there is proof that DUBYA and Dick(LESS) were complicit in treason, as was Hot Karl Rove. With 51% of Americans calling for impeachment, I really don't think there is anything that she can do to stem the tide.
Blessed be!

What we the people really deserve are indictments for criminally negligent homicide against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and that sweet smiling Condi. Jail time, not merely removal from office is what is due....

Man, am I with you. DUBYA at the very least needs to face a thousand plus charges of criminally neglegent homicide for every American citizen killed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He should also face twenty-seven-hundred charges of the same crime for 9/11. He also needs to face war crimes charges for each American soldier, Iraqi soldier, and Iraqi civilian killed in his little war for Halliburton.
Dick(LESS) Cheney needs to face treason charges (as does DUBYA and Hot Karl Rove) for exposing CIA operative Valerie Plame. The entire lot needs to face treason charges for the fixing of the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. Condi Rice also needs to face charges of criminally neglegent homicide, conspiracy to commit criminally neglegent homicide, and any other charge that can be leveled against her for dismissing the real threats by Al Qaeda, and the plans she received from the outgoing Clinton Administration.
The entire lot, including the slime in congress who allowed Foley to swim single-handedly through the page pool all need to face the music for their criminal actions. If we expect rule of law to apply to other felons in our society, then it better apply to those who have committed high crimes and misdemeanors as elected public servants.
Throw the lot in jail, and let the gay bikers sort them out!
Blessed be!

WELL WASN'T IT A LAME DUCK CONGRESS THAT TOOK OUT BILL CLINTON & FINISHED IT BEFORE THEY LEFT FOR THE END OF THEIR YEAR? & did they not march over to the Senate with such moral authority & values of the family... for his adult sexual encounter with a sexy grown woman with a kneepad agenda? I think so! So therefore I think this LameDuck congress has plenty of time if they would work 5 days per week like the rest of us!
