"Why things that scare you of course." Oh Hello, welcome to a little impromptu dialog with my friend Arty. Arty is my cynic. He often appears as a personal antagonist in my blogs. He's quite the know it all. Having read all the great master pieces of modern political thought, he finds my direct views to be simplistic. He's often offended when I postulate a view of the world as I see it and then don't include loads of credentialed accepted authorities to back up my views. It has never occurred to Arty that the credentialed opines of the accepted literary Illuminati are giving a skewed view of reality that is designed to support the status quo. A status quo that some, though not many, are finding to be a rigged system. A contrived reality that makes regular men slaves.
"Arty?, Is there something that should be scaring me right now that I'm missing?"
"Everything is Scary, Hoss. You see, if you would read more and keep up with the current events concerning America, you would know that we are in a struggle to keep our freedom. Terrorists? Duh!"
"Oh that." I reply, not really interested in being particularly afraid of them right now. Besides I know enough about the War On Terror to suspect that it's become a catch all justification for just more intrusive, expensive bad Government.
"Arty, Just what is it you're afraid of this very second? You do realize that bridges crumbling have nothing to do with foreign terrorists at all. That drunk astronauts are what you get when you send them up in suspect space vehicles which could turn them all into involuntary suicide bombers at the flip of a switch. Arty, you do realize that negligent, bad government is more of a threat to Americans than any Terrorist Icon we have plastered all over our Media? Don't you? By the way, Arty, who's the Terrorist du Jour this week? Who's the new trendy Pop Icon of Collective Western Hate?"
"Hoss, if you had read the book written by Jack Clark you would know that the threat of terrorism is real and that GW Bush did NOTHING about it even though he had been warned before 9/11."
"Yea, except that none of that adds up." I go on to say that it seems more likely that Jack Clark was a 9/11 liaison to link the various behind the scenes planning of 9/11 between the changing Presidential Administrations. 9/11 just had to be a concerted effort of many different intelligence and military groups of many different countries. And we're not even talking about who was really behind 9/11 orchestrating it and what their motives were.
"Hoss, you're just making up conspiracy theories. There's no way our own Government had anything to do with 9/11. And you can't give a single credited source to back up your claim. So I dismiss it. The 9/11 commission looked into it and came to the real conclusion."
"That's just it Arty. The 9/11 Commission never clearly says who did 9/11 or who planned it or financed it. I would say the questions not addressed by the 9/11 Commission say more than the actual report itself. But I'm not going into it for you. Since it's not in the report, you will simply disregard it anyway."
It's right here that I find my problem with credentialed Authority voices. To me nothing could be clearer than that they present a contrived view of reality and that view is never questioned, by not only other Authorities or main stream Media, but by most Americans as well. This contrived view must be endorsed by all who would serve as an elected official or write for a Main Stream Media Publication. It explains Barack Obama's sudden interest in being tough on Terror. It explains Hillary's refusal to recant her vote for the Iraqi War. Though other candidates have symbolically recanted their vote, none say they would unilaterally, immediately end American involvement in Iraq much less the dubious War On Terror. It also explains the stupid "would I or wouldn't I use Nuclear Weapons" mini debate now raging on the front pages. Frankly, now that's something I should be afraid of. No, not Nuclear Weapons, but how this already gone on too long Presidential Campaign is becoming so contrived. Clearly in November 08, Americans will get to choose between Insanity A or Insanity B. That's assuming that votes even count anymore. If they ever did.
"Hey Arty, who was the famous Nazi that said tell a big lie and tell it over and over again and it will become the Truth? I think that's what the War On Terror and the Iraq War are based on."
"Ok Hoss, who do you think did 9/11 and why are we really at War in Iraq?" Arty smirks.
"You'll have to ask the Globalist Puppet Masters that question Arty, Oh that's right, you haven't read a "credible" scholarly tome telling you that Globalist Puppet Masters exist. By the way Arty, did you know that the bridge that just collapsed was just recently inspected and though there was significant structural weakness, no one thought it would collapse?" I digress a little.
