John McCains Moderate Veil is a Lie

According to John McCain’s senate biography he served as the  president of the New Citizenship Project. This organization whose chairman is the forever wrong  William ‘the bloody’ Kristol was under McCains tenure (as it’s president) the organization that provided the initial funding for the Project  for the New American Century. PNAC  has advocated invasion of Iraq for years and wet dreamed of the opportunities presented by ‘a New Pearl Harbor’ which they got in the way of  911.  Without the intelligence failures and Bushes asleep at the wheel response to the 2001 August 6th PDB where he was warned about a terrorist attack none of the constitutional crimes, horrors and war crimes in our names would have been allowed to occur.

Like most republican doublespeak whatever they say they are is pretty much guaranteed to be the opposite of what they are really about “an organization created to promote greater civic participation in our national life, and to restore American self-government  (whatever the heck that means) and civil society.”

Funding sources for the New Citizenship Project are exclusively from right-wing neo-conservative think tank funders. For example, The John M. Olin Foundation, Inc. listed grants in 1997 show the subtitle for The New Citizenship Project as the “Project for the Next American Century.” And, in fact the NCP and PNAC share the same phones and suite in Washington DC.
