Christmas story

Once upon a time, God created the universe. He started with a big bang, and set up physical laws so that the matter and energy spread apart. Over the next 15 billion years He made the stuff coalesce into galaxies, black holes, stars, and eventually, planets.

He made billions of planets throughout His universe, and on some of them He created life. He created laws of physics, chemistry and biology to govern physical form. He set up spiritual laws to govern evolution, and intelligence, and morality. On some of the planets He created beings with enough intelligence to discover His laws and worship Him, the Creator.

He decreed that in the fullness of time, some intelligent beings on every planet, call them X, would discover nuclear energy, and harness it . At this point in its evolution, X would be the dominant species on its planet, with the power to choose life or to destroy its biosphere. God dictated that X would be aware of the choice.

He always gives X a story to guide it through its choice point. The story highlights the spiritual qualities which will enable X to make the right choice. The story is compelling, easily understood, and well known by X.

We humans on planet earth are at the choice point. We have our story, about a person who provides a model for the qualities of love, self-sacrifice, forgiveness, humility, and service to others. If we cultivate these qualities, we will escape nuclear holocaust and evolve to a new level of cooperation as a species.

It is, of course, the story of Jesus Christ.

A Christ Consciousness

Becoming what this ever loving and spiritual prophet asked of us years ago, will be our only salvation. It saddens me to no end to see what humans have done with his message. They have turned it into a religion, creating prejudice and dogma and forgetting the true nature of his words. Time is ticking and we are going to be faced with the greatest story ever told. Our world will change as we know it, I hope it will be for the better, but this is up to us.

We need to eliminate the monetary system, break down the corporations that have imprisoned us, and get back to basics with mother earth. Forgive ourselves and each other, love unconditionally and bring our house ( spirit ) into order. Thank you for writing this article, and I hope you and yours stay safe and in the light.

Eliminating the Money System

I thought I was the only one who thought about getting rid of the money

system. Now that's at least 2 of us.

There are many more

We are not alone in our thoughts, there are many more who realize the cancer of the green. It is evident just by looking at the events of our world, how money has turned humans into monsters. The antidote is to put an end to the system that has made us cold blooded slaves.

Great piece, Carol. So true. But there's more to the story.

The core message of the Christ Jesus was in fact the core message that is universal and common to all religions. They are all about slightly different versions of the golden rule, and it boils down to this: treat others as you would want to be treated if you were them.

That is the crux of the message on this site, which I highly recommend:

for appreciating the story. A right wing Christian group I belong to freaked out with it, and said I was describing Satan. Because I said that Creator set forth the law of evolution? Not sure.

Anyway, the challenge posed to the intelligent life form on planet earth by nuclear weapons has helped us evolve, but we are regressing at a rapid rate, helped along by the false Christians of the rapture cult.
