The drumbeats marching us to war with Iran, and perhaps its ally Russia, are getting louder and more insistent. Joe Lieberman yells it. The MSM blares that Iran is supplying Al Qa'eda; the denials of this by generals who know better go unreported. Eight of nine Republican candidates for president say we should nuke Iran.

They want to start WW III. They say the Bible calls for a final battle between the Muslim hordes backed by Russia, and the forces of "good". This is based on false interpretations of Bible prophecies. If anyone wants more details, please email me and I'll provide them.

The underlying heresy is the rapture cult, which has been cynically used by the "religious" right- which is only interested in secular power- to intimidate all of us. They want us to accept that Jesus is a bloodthirsty monster who delights in killing and torturing us, and wants to see all non Bush supporters end up writhing in the agony of slow radiation death. The false promise to "true believers" is that the mushroom cloud will transport them to heaven- "beam me up, Scotty".

This turns the Bible on its head. We are told to choose life, not a nuclear, DNA-destroying Armageddon.

Deut 10: 19"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants."

YOU AND I CAN STOP THEM! But we must act now. The moving force behind the suicidal madness is Dick Cheney. A bill to impeach Cheney has been introduced in the House- HR 333. It is a wedge that can open the door to getting rid of Cheney, then Bush.

Call your Representative today 202-224-3121. Tell him/her to cosponsor HR 333, NOW. The bill already has 7 cosponsors. If we can build some momentum, we can push through the resistance of Pelosi and get an impeachment investigation going. Cheney's crimes are so blatant that impeachment could take a few weeks only.

With Cheney gone, one of the biggest objections to impeaching Bush- that he'd be replaced by Cheney, would also be gone.

STOP the rush to provoking nuclear war with Iran, then Russia. Impeach Cheney NOW! HR 333 will do it.
