Whose planet?

Tell A Friend

A small group of humans, perhaps a few thousand worldwide, act as if planet earth belongs to them, to exploit and ruin as they see fit. They work through multinational corporations, and governments that are controlled by these beastly entities, which have no souls and care only for profits. The humans involved have a history of 100-300 years, or perhaps more, depending on which muckraker one reads. The Bush family, we know, goes back at least 3 generations, to Prescott, the Nazi funder.

The current generation of satanists has evidently decided that the jig is up and they no longer have to plan for future generations. Whether they cloak it in pseudo religious rhetoric like the rapture cult, or are just plain evil and cynical like Dick Cheney, they are gobbling up resources at an ever increasing rate, fomenting wars which keep their profit machines going, enslaving or annihilating the last vestiges of indigenous populations, and polluting the air and water on which all living creatures depend for life. Not to mention global warming and radioactive pollution, which will make life very difficult for future generations.

Humans, like all other species, are dependent on the ecosystem which we inhabit for survival, for sustenance, for sense of self. We cannot eat or breathe virtual reality, no matter how addicted to the internet we may be. Our artificial world of parking lots and shopping malls will not feed us. Nor will the state-controlled media feed our souls.

We did not make this beautiful world. I believe that a higher intelligence created it, using the natural laws of physics, chemistry and biology, including natural selection, to evolve the incredible variety of life with which our planet is blessed. There is no contradiction between science and a belief in God; one just has to assume that God is not a micromanager- He/She sets things in motion according to certain parameters, and then lets events unfold, although always able to intervene supernaturally, through prophets and spiritual leaders.

Psalm 24: 1-2The LORD’s are the earth and its fullness;
the world and those who dwell in it.
For he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.

We have lost our sense of reverence for the creation, and for the Creator. If only we would recognize Him/Her, He/She would guide us to sanity, peace, and survival.

Goals laudable, but reasoning highly flawed

re. There is no contradiction between science and a belief in God; one just has to assume that God is not a micromanager...

Above statement as well as much of this article supporting faith based belief in your imaginary skygod is fraught with fallacies.. First you assume the existence of something when the scienctific method and critical thinking must assume things do not exist unless there is evidence for existence. Even theists follow this rule “most” of the time; they don’t believe in Santa Claus, even though they can’t conclusively prove that no Santa Claus exists anywhere.

As a 'faith based believer' Carol, you are presuming the existence of ‘god’ or gods not proven to exist. No matter if one’s faith based belief is anthropomorphic in God or biblical based, regardless if it is a Christian God, a Jewish God, Yahweh, Allah, or any god in the minds of man, it can be invalidated in form and function as fallacious within the rules of inductive and deductive reasoning. One cannot presume the existence of ‘god’ or gods not proven to exist. Read the Non-Existence Default here http://lostvegas.us/lessthanhuman/?page_id=4

How about we drive your 'alledged satanists' out for what they're really guilty of in crimes against humanity and the earth's ego system rather than justifying it with the imaginary sky god THEY too worship?
