It should be obvious to all good Americans by now that the 2 party system is "The Problem" in American politics today. The re-election of Dubya Gump occured because the majority of Americans voted for the "lesser of two evils". Of course, since Dubya Gump is the worst president in the history of our great nation I would argue that majority voted for the wrong man and that is why I staged a 1 man protest in front of the United Nations building on 091104.

Why is the 2 party system bad? Well I think that anyone with half a brain should already know the answer to that question but a simpe way to look at it is like this:

People would not buy ice cream at Baskin and Robbins if they only sold vanilla and chocolate.
People would not go to McDonalds if they only sold hamburgers with no pickles and a coke.
Women would not buy cucumbers if they only sold 3 inch long cucumbers without the bumps(j/j).

Now some will argue that there are numerous other parties on the ballots but the facts speak for themselves i.e. the last president who wasn't from either the democratic or republican parties was Andrew Johnson and that was in the 1860's! The point is we must demand REAL changes in our political system that give 3rd parties a FAIR chance to compete. Now how to actually make that occur is the hardest part?

Anyway over the past few years I have attempted to conceptualize what to me personally would be the ideal political party and so that is what I like to call "The Real Party". It would be the party to represent the MAJORITY of Americans. The Real Party would promote a reality based agenda. The primary idea would be to identify problems and seek out real world solutions to those problems based on logic, integrity, and perhaps most importantly COMPROMISE. The Real Party would not accept $ donations as putting $ into politics is where corruption lays it's groundwork. The Real Party would instead allow people to donate their time and more specifically time ONLINE! The defeat of Joe Lieberman is proof of the power of the internet. I believe that if we could get a few people together then we could get the ball rolling on this idea. But then again there is always the old adage: if you want something done 'right' you best do it yourself.

I first started playing with computers in 1977 after being placed in the 'gifted program' at school due to scoring a 154 on my IQ test(my mom told me to never take another IQ test again and I haven't...so good thinking mom!). I am a part-time (more...)
