Fairness leads to liberty;
Fearfulness leads to tyranny.
There are two types of voters: Those who choose fairness over fearfulness And those who choose fearfulness over fairness.
The fair citizen votes for Freedom over fear, Civil rights over civil wrongs, Civil liberties over civil tyrannies.
The fearful citizen votes for Fear over freedom, Civil wrongs over civil rights, Civil tyrannies over civil liberties.
The fair and courageous citizen believes Give him liberty or Give him death.
The fearful and cowardly citizen believes Take away his liberty or He might receive death.
More fair voters Than fearful voters When the Democratic Party For civil libertarians Defeats the Republican Party For authoritarians.
More fearful voters Than fair voters When the Republican Party For authoritarians Defeats the Democratic Party For civil libertarians.
Republicans incite people's fearfulness; Democrats appeal to people's fairness; Don't cower in fearfulness; Stand up for fairness.
America was meant to be The land of the free And the home of the brave, Not the land of the oppressed And the home of the cowards, So the fearful Better grow a spine.
Giving away liberty Does not buy security; Liberty is most of security; Without decreasing liberty, Let's start increasing security.
The seed of liberty Grows peace and prosperity, So our only fear Should be of fear.
Then the future won't be owned by fear; The future will be owned by freedom.
