Hey educator.

The problem isn't
     Attention deficit disorder;
The problem is an
     Education deficit disorder.

With students who learn differently,
     You seek to medicate them,
     Before you educate them;
But why don't you
     Fully accommodate them?

Disabled is not unable.

Traditionalism is the enemy
Of progress and growth.

Lack of accommodation,
Barriers to growth,
Discrimination,
Prejudice, bias, stereotypes,
Intolerance and bigotry
Are society's disabilities.

For students with disabilities,
Their greatest obstacles
     Aren't their disabilities;
Their greatest obstacles
     Are society's disabilities.

You cannot educate the majority
And discard the minority.

We don't have a person to waste.

Individuals with disabilities are
     Casualties of chance;
Let them not also be
     Casualties of society.
