For OpEdNews: Amanda Lang - Writer

Tomorrow when the Senate Judiciary Committee faces off for the first time with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales since that embarrassing document dump, 5 million erased emails, Sampson and his own contradictory testimonies, and Monica's invoking the 5th over the DoJ's firings of eight well-respected U.S. attorneys, senators need to ask him this burning question. Why are there so many inexperienced and non-stellar graduates of Regent, Pat Robertson's right-wing 'law' school, at the Justice Department?

Miraculous? The Bush administration has employed 150 Regent graduates who in a few short years ascended to the top echelons of power with limited experience at record speeds. Monica Goodling, a key player in the attorney firings is such a graduate. A Jesus 'fast-track?'

I urge the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate our Department of Justice's connection to Robertson's Regent Law School. How many vacancies had to be created for these new grads to be brought aboard? How much of the taxpayers' legal 'brain-trust' has been forfeited?
