Leahy, Schumer, & Specter: A Burning Question for Gonzales

Tomorrow when the Senate Judiciary Committee faces off for the first time with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales since that embarrassing document dump, 5 million erased emails, Sampson and his own contradictory testimonies, and Monica's invoking the 5th over the DoJ's firings of eight well-respected U.S. attorneys, senators need to ask him this burning question. Why are there so many inexperienced and non-stellar graduates of Regent, Pat Robertson's right-wing 'law' school, at the Justice Department?

Miraculous? The Bush administration has employed 150 Regent graduates who in a few short years ascended to the top echelons of power with limited experience at record speeds. Monica Goodling, a key player in the attorney firings is such a graduate. A Jesus 'fast-track?'

I urge the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate our Department of Justice's connection to Robertson's Regent Law School. How many vacancies had to be created for these new grads to be brought aboard? How much of the taxpayers' legal 'brain-trust' has been forfeited?

The Fourth Reich

I have no idea why people are so reluctant to compare the bush administration to Hitler's Germany. They're doing the same thing. They filled every position they could with political ideologues. Education, the courts, police, business, everything.

So the people who say there is no conspiracy, they say there is no way America has been taken over by fascists.

I ask, really? Prove it?

Not Reluctant to Compare

Comparsions with Bush and Hitler don't seem to strike much of a cord in the general public. A random sample of people on the street would yield a wide range of varying - and mostly incorrect - definitions of 'fascism.' The topic is largely absent from school curriculums, and when present, lacks depth and historical honesty. As a result, the majority of the American public lacks the context for a real discussion for a Bush/Hitler dialogue. Best, Amanda

Hitler/Bushites

I have been calling the BUSHITES fascists since 2002. I have written countless articles and blogs and a novel before the 2000 election in which I (and people complained about the comparison back then) have compared the BUSHITES, (a term I coined) to Hitler's staff since 2003. In 1998 I predicted Bush’s election, the war in Iraq, the war on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, based on a dream I have years before, I had a dream of Nazi tanks and men wearing Nazi helmets going down my street bumper to bumper with GW Bush's head sticking out of one of the tanks directing their flow.

The 3 favorite books of the BUSHITES ARE, 1984 (ORWELL), MEIN KAMPF (HITLER) AND A DISTORTED MISTRANSLATION OF THE BIBLE.  There are the answers to their avarice and insanity. they are men and women created lacking eother Conscience or soul.

Hitler/ Bushites

Professor Pete, I had some experiences with Bushite Senior that was fascist and expected it from Dubya Bushite. Its not a true dream its facts the Nazi helmets don't exist, but I can see how someone would have nightmares like the ones you've experienced. In truth Bush Sr. opened are fishing waters to the Japanese well all along they had been buying up most of the cannery's for processing the fish. Mean well Jeb Prickface Bushite placed a ban on gill nets claiming they kill off to much of the fish population, well allowing them to bring in bigger boats with seine nets. Fact is a gill net is used to target larger fish and don't cause lots of damage to the sea bottom where micro organisms grow and thrive. However seine nets kill every that thing they come in contact with on are oceans doing much damage. Bushites do absolutely nothing to help the working class Americans and are poor they are truly Neocon Nazi's. They get us involved in illegal wars and lie constantly which I know your well aware of most of this story.

Gallaher10 year Navy veteran, former Federal employee with various agencies,

I would like to thank Gonzales

I would like to thank Gonzales for pointing out to the rest of the world what I have experienced in dealing with the alleged “Justice” Department sense Bush has taken office.

I had lost my job with the FAA after Blowing the Whistle on fraudulent claims of system monitoring. The FAA/DOT was represented by the U.S. Attorney. After being bankrupted with legal fees in my case against the DOT, I ran for a federal public office as a pauper. Mainly to get the word out about what the FAA was doing to endanger the public. I was told by the U.S. Attorney I would go to prison for failure to pay child support (for a period after I was fired) if I did not settle civil Whistle Blower case against the FAA. (I have this on tape) The highly specialized and paying job as an airways systems specialist is not available in the non-government world.

I refused the extortion attempt and filed a complaint with the U.S. District Court Judge. Unfortunately I found out later the Judge was a Republican appointee and the U.S. Attorney could do no wrong when it can to a case against the Bush administration. I even had a U.S. Attorney lackey admit on the stand that they were prosecuting me because I ran for political office and because I would not settle my civil case against the Bush Department of Transportation for wrongful dismissal. The U.S. Attorney argued to the court that I could have paid my child support with what little money they offered me to settle my case against them.

The Judge said how dare I go up against the (Bush) government. (Odd how witnesses in the court room heard this but it did not make it into the transcripts) I went to prison and the court dropped my civil case. So much for “Justice” in this country, No good deed goes unpunished.
