With BushCo’s poll numbers hovering around their most ardent supporters' apparent IQ level, there are opportunities galore for a committed opposition to turn their constant and predictable buffoonery, greed, and contempt for Americans into elective gold come 2006 and 2008. And I’m not even talking about the obvious snafus like the Endless Iraqi Debacle and Quagmire, the Keystone Kops Meet Katrina, or The Great Economic Train Wreck. The regressive-run GOP is amply displaying its true corrupt and morally depraved self in the form of the collection of human pustules currently starring in this saddest of American tragedies. Consider this cast.

W: installed by court decision, never elected; incurious detached bubble-dwelling King George; lord of mediocrity and underachieving, never worked an honest day in his life, shirked his military service, doesn’t read, can barely speak, former coke-snorter and current dry (or not) drunkard, morally stunted, blood-soaked torturer, serial killer, and war criminal, empathetically impotent, caterer to haves and shitter-on-er of have-nots, general incompetent failure and consumer of infinitely more oxygen than he’s worth. What is not to utterly despise about this sad, sick, cowardly fool that passes for an American leader?

Dick Cheney: the Grand Dome of Decorum, the ‘go fuck yourself’ guy, heartless, soulless, possibly resulting from a post-WWII nuclear genetic experiment gone horribly awry, a walking conflict of interest what with his cronies at Halliburton sidling up to the Federal trough yet again for another good feeding of Bush-caused, disaster-related, no-bid, sweetie-pie contracts hot on the heels of those they ‘secured’ in Iraq (they’ll have New Orleans up and running as well as Baghdad in no time), and if you’re a non-white, non-American or non-human living thing, then for you, Cheney’s just a big fat Dick.

Tom Delay: multiply-indicted former House majority leader, another soulless prick who, like Robin Williams says in ‘Good Morning, Vietnam’, is more in need of a blow-job than any white man in history; a humorless hypocritical weenie who disguises himself as the big tough playground bully since he knows BushCo has his back; by far the country’s most corrupt politician, his eyeballs are floating in ethics violations while his rants confirm he’s so disconnected from facts, truth, shame, and irony, he’s well…the perfect regressive; his party’s Congressional hatchet and bag man, this guy looks up at the gutter; he’s so smarmy, phony and annoying, Al Swerengen would surely call him a cocksucker, have him killed, then unceremoniously fed to Deadwood’s pigs.

Bill Frist: Senate majority leader, a medical doctor who’s mastered the art of crassly turning a humane profession into a political opportunity; another Martha Stewart in the making, Frist is under SEC investigation for selling off buckets of shares of his family’s company (that’s right, his family’s company) right before the stock tanked; if you think he wasn’t given an insider’s heads-up by his CEO brother, your brain must still be in the shop (or you’re a committed regressive) – chances he’ll spend any righteous time in the can or get to accessorize his expensive suits with a GPS ankle bracelet? Nil. The only saving grace? He’ll never be President

Karl Rove: Bush’s Brain (not doing such a hot job there, huh?); one of the sleaziest slezoids ever to draw a breath; morality’s never a worry since he seems incapable of incorporating such quaint and passé notions into his matrix of defamation, smear, lies, distortions, slander, and vilification; nothing but a big goofy bully who gets off lording his power over anyone, especially those who have a great deal to lose; like most BushCo apparatchiks, he has no concern whatever for the fate of the nation or the welfare of its citizens; he acts with one singular goal – to increase and consolidate regressive power while further enriching regressive donors and mega-corporations, gutting social programs, and eliminating the middle class; Rove thinks of a one-party State with regressives in all power positions and has to change his pants.

Yes, this is the bunch committed to restoring honor, integrity, and character to the White House. I think we can all agree that boat has sailed without a single member of BushCo on board. If the Democrats can’t exploit the actions of these morally defective criminals and charlatans, they’re not worth even one vote.
