We need a new song of America. I'm tired and
fed up with the song that is now being sung: Allen L Roland
Here is the Cheney/Bush SONG OF AMERICA ;

This is a song that has created animosity from our friends as well as isolation, mistrust, if not hatred, from millions throughout the world .
This is a song that is self serving and arrogant and it's discordant tones are shrill and grating to my ears .
This is a song of ego consciousness.
It's time for a new song which will elevate our souls and raise us up from our collective discouragement.
A NEW SONG FOR AMERICA
The plan is for the United States to empower the world. The overt theme is multilateralism but it is ultimately a story of altruism and social cooperation .
It calls on the United States to decrease its huge defense budget and instead of arming the world ~ educate and feed the poor and disenfranchised of the world ~ which is the true birthplace of terrorism ~ in the spirit of universal brotherhood.
It calls for strength but also cooperation with friends and enemies alike. It says that the United States will be a candle of light to the rest of the world not by being the most powerful but, instead, by being the most generous and altruistic and, as such, empowering the world to finally surrender to our deepest urge to unite and cooperate with one another versus dominate and control each other.
This is a song of soul consciousness.

Never had a country so many openings to happiness as this.
Her setting out in life, like the rising of a fair morning, was
unclouded and promising.
Her cause was good.
Her principles just and liberal.
Her temper serene and firm .
Her conduct regulated by the nicest steps, and everything about her wore the mark of honor.
It is not every country that can boast so fair an origin.
Which song will lead us back to those noble origins and fulfill our principled and virtuous destiny ?
Which song will we sing in November of next year ?
