LIEBERMAN SETS STAGE FOR MILITARY STRIKE ON IRAN

U.S. Senator Says Military Action in Iran Possible

Senator Joseph Lieberman with Israeli Prime Minister Olmert
"I think we've got to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq ~  And to me, that would include a strike over the border into Iran, where we have good evidence that they have a base at which they are training these people coming back into Iraq to kill our soldiers ": Joseph Lieberman / Face The Nation
The Cheney/Bush administration's designated War Pimp Joseph Lieberman ~ very close friend of Israel and AIPAC ~ all but declared on Face The Nation Sunday morning that a military strike on Iran was not only on the table but very likely.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article17858.htm
When we add that dramatic announcement to the recent firing of General Pace as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff ~ who was never keen on broadening the Iraq war to include Iran ~ and the appointment of the zealous hawk and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Michael Mullen as his replacement ~ Three things become obvious:
1. The chickenhawks, led by Cheney, are ready to strike sooner rather than later ~ probably within six months. Unable to face the failure of their Iraq misadventure ~ the Cheney/Bush administration is ready to not only blame and demonize Iran but to eventually justify an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
 2. Admiral Mullen is a true neocon believer, unlike Pace, and was quoted as such in an address earlier this month to naval personnel: http://starbulletin.com/... "The enemy now is basically evil and fundamentally hates everything we are -- the democratic principles for which we stand ... This war is going to go on for a long time. It's a generational war."
 3. This strike will eventually include Israel who will preemptively strike Iran's nuclear facilities thus drawing Syria into the fray.
Here's my doomsday scenario ~ Claiming that iran is killing American soldiers by training insurgents ( Liebermnan has already announced this line of spin ) the United states will strike those border bases in Iran and Iran will retaliate throughout the gulf but particularly in Iraq. Israel will then find a premise to preemptively strike Iran's nuclear facilities and we are off to the races . The strait of hormuz will close ( Iran Readies Plan to Close Strait of Hormuz ), oil prices will go to $100.00 a barrel, the stock market will quickly nosedive well below its current fragile support levels and Bush will declare a national emergency ~ legally stopping our democratic process in its tracks. ( please remember, recent legislation gives Bush the right to self declare a national emergency and literally take over the country
as well as the national guard )
If this sounds like Germany in the 1930's ~ your absolutely right and the American people are just as blinded by fear having already given Bush, as Hitler at that time, autocratic power at his own bidding .
Congress will cave in because they are beholden to Israel and AIPAC and the American people will be powerless to change this  ~ unless we literally take to the streets and force Congress to impeach Cheney and Bush.
Timetable: Think October, 2007 ~ that's when Mullin begins his term.

Photo Says It All

Your picture is worth a thousand words. Olmert, with popularity in the single digits to teens in Israel, with his moron war last year a total disaster, can still get little Joey to perform political fellatio on the world stage for the Cause. Lieberman postures with his ethically-challenged master; Lieberman goes on to declare war on Iran in the next breath. Olmert smiles, no doubt asking himself if he has some chocolates in his pocket to give to Joe for his obedience. Why is this shit a US Senator and not a cartoon character on the Simpsons? Or maybe he is.

LIEberman is an Israeli agent.

LIEberman represents the interests of rabid Zionists, not Americans. This traitorous filth will see America sacrificed (what's left of it, that is) for the sake of a delusion: an ethnically pure greater Israel.

(Note to the "oil" people: Once again, as the evidence indisputably shows, this is not about "oil"; rather, this is about re-making the MidEast into an Israeli expansionist-hegemonist friendly version).

Talking tough

Talking tough can have it's consequences.  I reference today's NYT Opinion article.

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/12/opinion/12carter.html?th&emc=th

 Titled "After the Bomb"

"THE probability of a nuclear weapon one day going off in an American city cannot be calculated, but it is larger than it was five years ago....."

The President has already stated that a pre-emptive strike with all options on the table is an option when dealing with Iran.  I'm surprised Leiberman has not openly supported that view, as he has come close.  Perfect fodder for extremist propaganda of a deadly kind.  I wish Connecticut all the best in their war with Iran.  By the way, Connecticut is very, very, very important to the American economy.  Although small, the population density is great and the per capita income high.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee ~ Connecticut is NOT that important to the American economy ~ however, it can take the dubious credit for electing Lieberman to the Senate.

Well do tell

And you can thank the weasley Dems for this. Not the good people who vote for the Democrats as an intelligent alternative to the Geoncide's Our Priority party but the elected officials. If George gets a burr in his butt and wants to attack Iran, what is going to stop him? Sure the Dems will spend a few days whining and crying about it, but then they will get on their knees and tell George to do whatever he wants, just don't say bad things about them.

Absolutely true ~ the Democrats have not only lost their base but their self respect along with it.  We, as a country, are in deep trouble for we have no opposing party and we are heading for a trainwreck.
