With the Cheney/Bush administration Perception is always more important than Reality. The perception of Guantanamo is a normal prison for terrorists ~ the reality is that Guantanamo is a concentration camp employing total psychological terror on its prisoners: Allen L Roland

Here, in a dramatic 16 minute video interview with Professor Alfred McCoy, is dramatic proof that Guantanamo is America's Auschwitz ~ designed to psychologically break down its prisoners to the point of madness or suicide ( as recently seen ).

The first five minutes of this video will reveal how both the Red Cross and the FBI are appalled by the atrocities that routinely occur behind the barbed wire of Guantanamo.

Guantanamo is an extreme embarrassment to both the civilized world as well as America ~ but it is also the tip of the iceberg pursuant to the ongoing abuse of power by the Cheney/Rumsfeld/Bush administration.

While I certainly agree that Guantanamo is an abomination, it is an INSULT to the million who died at Auschwitz to compare the two.

The Americans, while culpable, are not (yet) at the level of the Nazis.

Of course,not, It is Dachau.

No, it is not Auchwitz, YET. It is Dachau, the first training center for the future mass executioners, the breeding- ground for the disease. When Dachau was opened it was announced in the newspapers. And there people did not know why they were incarcerated and what would happen to them. Oh yes, it is Dachau.
But after Dachau was Auchwitz for sure. Do we want to wait until we get it?

And one more thing. All victims of the injustice are equal. Yes, Gitmo is not Auchwitz yet, but those who died there are on the same level of mourning as those who died in Auchwitz or in Dachau or elsewhere. Yes, there were petty criminals in Dachau too. And there were German felons in Auchwitz. But the inhuman system which kills indiscriminantly and violently is the same no matter which flag covers it. Yes, there is no sign over the gates of Gitmo 'Everyone deserves what he gets', but that sign is not that far. Haliburton is busy building detention centers. We hear that but they use the word 'illegal immigrants' and we are OK- they deserve it, right?
Tell you what, WE DESERVE IT! People, folks, do you understand that our own children may become our executioners? I am afraid even to think about such situation.But I have seen that happening before.
