Hillary Clinton was evasive and contradictory as ever today as she fielded the tough questions from Tim Russert. She was nailed on her poor judgment for voting for the War Resolution in 2002. In my opinion she voted the interests of her corporate backers then as she does now. if nothing else, her judgment which she's running on failed her as she assessed the intentions of the Bush Administration on how they would use this use of force authorization. That is if you believe she really thought that GW Bush wanted to use every option before he invaded Iraq. I didn't believe him, how about you? I knew then it was about the oil prices just as the hold up in Iraq is the Oil deal now. She said today that she would start bringing home troops in the first 60 days as President. But I also remember clearly her and Obama refusing to guarantee that all troops would be out of Iraq by 2013. So which is it? She wants to run on her experience and record, well, my experience of her record says we'll stay in Iraq until she and her Corporate interests say we're finished.

She's wrong on the mortgage mess too as she wants to maintain the false speculator driven, now too high, price of real estate. She says she wants to intervene on behalf of home owners stuck in these deals. That's status quo all the way in wanting to maintain these too high real estate prices for the bank's revenues and property taxes. What this is, is just income redistribution from the the regular families she pretends to represent to the Banks and tax coffers. She now wants to do it with a heavy dose of Government money which she said we don't need to pay for.  Which means more deficit spending and inflation which is one of the fundamental problems in the first place. But to be fair no candidate is actually taking on the speculators and banks or advocating a deflation cycle in real estate to return true value to the people's markets.  This is going to take debt forgiveness along with the readjustment down of Real Estate prices.  This would also reenfranchise many who have been priced out of home ownership by these speculators, banks, lenders and the Real Estate business itself. It's radical but people need radical now.

Yea, the media is making this about Obama and Hillary now. Frankly neither are really saying to much beyond vague platitudes. The democratic Primary is rapidly being reduced to being about race and gender. As important as these issues may be to some, they are not what is really wrong in this country. Hillary and Russert talked about it too long. What I want to know is, who's going to talk about the banking-military industrial clique enriching themselves off the charts with the current status quo of preemptive wars and rampant speculator driven thieving of the purchasing power of the masses? It is becoming clear that this election won't be about any real change for regular Americans or the unfortunate people bearing the brunt of our Military abroad.

It's sad these populist pretenders are invoking the names of JFK and MLK in these primaries. Those two men died for taking on the  problems and oppression created by the Banking-Military Industrial complex. They really did stand for something. Do Hillary or Obama really stand for anything? That's right, JFK was more than just Camelot and MLK was about way more than Race
