My country tis of thee

They’ve ripped off your liberty

For which we stand

They’ve mined our purple mountain majesty

They’ve raped our fruited plains

While we were chasing sex and money

They stole our land of milk and honey

They ripped up our rule of law

Nobody cares no more

They replaced hope with fear

Sold out what was dear

What we got for all of this

Was protection from a myth

Where the real terror lies is in

Closing our eyes

And Trusting wise guys
