Heart's Cease & Desist Ignored by Palin at RNC
"The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use [Barracuda], nor would they have been granted that permission," Nancy Wilson wrote. "We have asked the Republican campaign publicly not to use our music." The RNC played it anyway, when Palin took the stage later Thursday night. Guess the Rethugs can't find their own musical support, so steal music as easily as elections.

Log Cabin Republicans Embrace Homophobic Party
Human Rights Campaign condemns Log Cabin endorsement of McCain/Palin. Sarah Palin and John McCain clearly oppose treating all US citizens equally. The reduction would coincide with new deployments to Afghanistan, officials said.

'Daily Voting News' For September 05, 2008
a collection of local, state, national and international articles on electronic voting and election issue
The Last Roundup
(4 comments) Tho published four months ago, this lengthy, well-researched article has fresh relevance given the widespread repression in Denver and St. Paul at the DNC and RNC: For decades the federal government has been developing a highly classified plan that would override the Constitution in the event of a terrorist attack. Is it also compiling a secret enemies list of citizens who could face detention under martial law?

(5 comments) Hillary Clinton privately hopes Democrats have buyer's remorse over Biden now that Palin's energizing the GOP.
Word on the street is: Nobody's buying the Palin strategy. But Obama ought to remember Clinton's reluctance to help him when she thinks he's in trouble. Everyone ought to remember. Her supporters sacrificed everything to support her and bigger ideals, she won't give half the effort they gave to win this for Obama.
