Our Loaves And Fishes

Open the gates!
Let down the barriers!
Fling wide the doors!

See my brother
Standing there!

See the glint of hope
In his determined eye!

Sense the longings
Lodged in his heart!

Work!
Home!
Family!
Respect!
Fulfillment!

Open the gates!
Let down the barriers!
Fling wide the doors!

Don't be afraid!
Let my brother in!

Let him sit at our table
Rest by our fire
And till in our field!

Sense the longings
Lodged in his heart!

Aren't they the same longings
That are lodged in ours?

And won't the Mother
Who bore us all
Supply us all
With all
Our Loaves and Fishes?
