Become a Fan Become a Fan  (17 fans)   --

opednews.com

My number one fan is still a Yorkshire Terrier I adopted named TRULY ~  and, indeed, Truly knows the truth.
Any pet owner, but particularly a dog owner, knows who their number one fan is ~ as I most certainly do.
Films like " Killers of Eden " ( the story of a killer whale who befriended and protected a town in Australia ) reinforce what millions of people already know or deeply sense ~ that animals and in particular, our pets, seem to know things or be conscious of events at a level deeper than most humans.
In essence, our pets are reservoirs of unconditional love and many of us already know and can feel this.
Rupert Sheldrake recently wrote Dogs that know when their owners are coming home ~ and other unexplained powers of animals and he briefly comments on love ~ " Perhaps the greatest gift animals can offer is their capacity for love. Emotionally damaged adults with low self-esteem can easily believe and accept that their animals love them unconditionally."
Sheldrake invokes the concept of Morphic Fields that exists beyond time and space ~ " The evidence that I have been discussing in this book suggests that our own intentions, desires, and fears are not confined to our heads or communicated only through words are behavior. We can influence animals and affect other people at a distance. We remain interconnected with animals and people we are close to, even when we are far away.. and we can be influenced by things that are about to happen in waya that defy our normal notions of causality . We are on the threshold of a new understanding of the nature of the mind."
But I would maintain that we are on the threshold of a new understanding of the nature of the heart ~ for Sheldrake's Morphic Fields could well be a  Unified Field  of love and soul consciousness that exists not only beyond time an space but ALSO beneath our deepest fears.
As such, our animals have a special part in the loving plan for they are, indeed, reservoirs of love and are quite often the only childhood reference to unconditional love in dysfunctional families where emotional and physical abuse are the norm.
Those who we love deeply become part of us forever and that works in both the animal and human kingdom and would explain paranormal events that are seemingly beyond time and space for both humans and animals ~ for there is no time and space in a  Unified Field of love and soul consciousness.
Click on the following link and note the loving exchange between Jennifer Anderson and a Manta Ray that she had freed from some tangled fishing lines on the ocean floor off of  Maui ~ which would demonstrate my point that mammals and other animals exist in a deep psychic world of love and soul consciousness ~ which all of us once knew as young children.
" I felt a rush of something that so overpowered me; I have yet to find the words to describe it, except a warm and loving flow of energy from her into me "
