What we're seeing in the Democratic primary is the oldest sales trick in the book, the old bait and switch. I'm watching a truly popular candidate suddenly being handled by the media at this late date and seeing the true establishment candidate suddenly being promoted as the "real" deal. The way to the nomination for Hillary Clinton is being patiently explained by those in the media who just a few short weeks ago were acting like they were glad she was gone. I'm not fooled, the establishment allowed Barack Obama a free hand to go out and draw people in or back in the system who otherwise would never have been interested. Barack went around the country preaching hope and change to an electorate weary of establishment glad handling and rip offs. Now just a quick romp through Pennsylvania and Hillary will claim the nomination should be hers because of her success in the so called "big" states. It will all be rationalized as the Super delegates hand Hillary the nomination saying because she won the big states, she's the only Democrat that can win in November.
Barack Obama will have no choice but to play along as any other move would be political suicide for his career. He may be handed an olive leaf known as the VP slot on the ticket. He of course will accept because again, any other move would be his political suicide. Besides, the Democrats will expect him to bring along all his supporters as he, being a good Democrat, will be expected to pledge his support and hand over his supporters to Hillary Clinton. Just like they planned it several months or even years ago. Not Obama perhaps, but the Democratic establishment and it's corporate sponsorship. So who will be disappointed?
The short answer, if you are disappointed and disillusioned now with politics and American foreign and domestic policy, you will continue to be disappointed in 09 and beyond. For that matter even the great peace candidate, Barack Obama himself, said just today on TV that there will be Peace with Honor in Iraq. If Viet Nam is any guide that means that the Iraq war will continue on unabated for another 5 years easy. It would appear that all those reports and innuendos about Obama's safety have had their intended impact on the great populist. The WAR ON TERROR with it's idiocy abroad and it's civil liberty eroding measures in the HOMELAND will also continue no matter what even with the great populist. Isn't that good news? The one little ray of hope that will be gone when Hillary is nominated is that Obama wanted to discuss problems with our so called enemies. Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, Hamas, Hezbollah and the list goes on. The status quo of global division will continue and those rich few that benefit from this division will not miss a pay check or a Government Contract.
So thank you American Politics for another great circus. We love the final act we're seeing now, the bait and switch. Let's hear it for the political power brokers and comedy TV. Let's hear it for the investment, banking and defense contractors. How about a hip! hip! hooray! for the Oil Companies! And last but not least, a tip of the hat to our treasured allies, the British and Israel. What ever would American do without our involvement in your Mid east Colonialism and Apartheid. And one last acknowledgment, to the Health care and Health Care Insurance Industries, for you there's nothing but smooth sailing and guaranteed exploitive profits ahead. And of course, and how could I ever leave these guys out, LONG LIVE THE FUTURES SPECULATORS!

It's risky business to guess the future, but when so many things line up at once it's a little hard to resist.
If what I say is true then I believe what did Obama in is his willingness to meet with the status quo enemies. Global Capitalists and other authoritarians like things divided just the way they are. His resistance to mandatory Health Insurance probably didn't help him with the Coroprate Establishment either.

What you have described is simply the process of choosing a nominee. What you infer to be a media prejudice is simply your own bias showing. Many Clinton supporters have railed against the media exactly as have you on behalf of Obama. You both cannot be correct now can you?
I am very surprised ,frankly, at the meteoric rise of Senator Obama in this race, I had assumed that, with years of preparation behind her, Senator Clinton's nomination would be a cake walk...it certainly aint that. One might hope that, with a race as competitive as this one is many pertinent issues would be discussed and many plans outlined. Sadly that is far from the case.

The media bias both ways is or was contrived. The idea is to make it look like Hillary actually fought for a nomination that was always going to be hers all along.
But anyway thanks for your keen comment. I'll be sure to drop by your next article. That is if you ever write another one

We have quite enough of those who think their opinions are writ large and in gold leaf. I did not insult your opinion in any way, only offered one of my own. Too bad you have so much extra time on your hands not devoted to your High School studies.
One might ponder whether writing stupidly contrived articles like yours is superior to writing none at all? Bye now, got no time for spoiled little children like you.

You do speak wisdom there Mr. ardee I just don't think you know it or intended it
. I am like an immature child playing a game in the school yard in which I am crying because the big boys are cheating and have stolen my ball. And now they laugh at me as I cry to the school authorities who do nothing but threaten to give me medication to help me calm down and adjust. If I continue to protest, whine and complain they may also give me a time out.
But meanwhile the big boys have stolen my ball and are now giving it to the girl hoping the girl will give them "special favors" (wink) if you know what I mean? Huh? Ardee?
Do you understand my analogy? Crude and sad as it may be? Or are you gone from my pages forever? Took your ball and went home?

I have been reading the media preps for the Pennsylvania Primary and the media is setting up for who ever wins this should be the nominee. Because of momentum and the big states thing.
The state definitely favors Hillary Clinton for whatever reason. So what I said in my article is very likely to happen. Obama who may even have the delegate lead, popular vote lead and most state wins all over, will still be denied the nomination.
And it's all being set up right now in the media.
I will never trust any do overs in Florida or Michigan.
Is this all fair? I suppose it is if your candidate wins. But as it is, or could very well be, more Democrats may have voted for the candidate that didn't win the Nomination.

In USA's political arena, be it domestic or foreign policies, accidents never ever happen. Everything is planned way in advance. We are just watching the unfolding of a movie script written years ago without our knowledge or consent. You, the sheeple will have the impression of democracy and will have the privilege and honor to vote for the Elite's pick. If things go wrong at the last minute in spite of voting machines then buddies at the Supreme Court are there to give a helping hand.

are absolutely slavering at the prospect of a Clinton/Obama ticket. In my opinion, that ticket would be upside-down as was the one that ran Clinton/Gore.

Frankly, your article may be down and dirty on Hillary but all I can say is if Vince Foster could just come back and haunt us a bit with his wisdom, we might know the real Hillary.
How can anyone in their right mind, vote for another Clinton? We have Bush clinton Bush Clinton. Are we a tyranny and only the family of elites with the bush name or Clinton name able to be in this Whitehouse? I think David Hoss pooped on Ardee's choice for Prez and she took her ball and went home. Heh heh.
If Hillary is "appointed" the Democrat nominee, I may vote for a Mac. I have been a staunch Democrat ever since Reagan's second term. However, the way the parties have been taken over by the corporations and produce nothing but Fascist control, I am sickened by our nominees and the Democrat's repulsive display. As far as I'm concerned, the Democrats are turning on me first by ignoring my state's vote.
I want Mac to bomb bomb Iran. Then Russia can bomb us, and we can learn the lesson that Einstein warned us about.
This Democrat nomination game has my blood pressure elevated(went to the Doc today). I live in a state that votes the last run of the course. It's as though Hillary and Howard Dean think my vote is crap.
Well, I'll just hope the Supervolcano spouts a little bit harder(I live by Yellowstone Park and we got some rocking) and blows this whole election right into space. There, match that Ardee.
Damn, I am angry! Good article. My Blood was already boiling!
Btw, Hillary cheated in TX and OH. It's my 7th sense working again. Trust me. :o]

Hillary has a long-standing agreement with the Powers That Be that have assured her her 'rightful' place in history (herstory?). I reckon Obama's popular rise was not foreseen, but it will only thicken the gravy, not change the menu. Were he not a 'team' player, he wouldn't have been allowed to come this far. Its Political Theater folks--don't you recognize it by now? When you see Obama and Hillary trading jabs, think Punch & Judy. You are being manipulated by experts in the Art of Pretend, so if you are going to buy a ticket you may as well enjoy the show. Does it matter if the ringmaster of the NWO circus is white or black, man or woman? Hardly.
Until and unless outside forces intervene, the fascist agenda will
move steadily forward regardless of the designated spokesperson.

What is to prevent Mr Bush from staging a false flags event and declaring Martial Law? Acting under NSPD 51, he could seize control of the three branches of government and suspend the 2008 elections indefinitely.

It's called a nominating process. I'd point out that before the last few months Clinton had a massive lead in opinion polls anyhow, so to say the nomination is being bait and switched away from obama is silly

The whole Idea of a Bait and Switch would be to erase the inevitibility of Hillaryand show her fighting back and displaying some kind of character and judgement. Hopefully in the process making more potential Nov. Voters like her a little more than before.
I'd have to say it's just not working. At least so far.
