Hello from VoteRescue Radio, Where Citizens Count, One Vote at a Time!

This Sunday, February 24, from 2-4pm CST, we will be talking with three great guests! TOM COURBAT, based in Murrieta, California (Riverside County), has been an election integrity (EI) advocate since 2004 after meeting Bev Harris. Tom heads up SAVE R VOTE, an EI watchdog group of 100 volunteers, which monitored four elections in Riverside County from June 2006 through June 2007. His group issued scathing reports on two of the elections, forcing many changes in election practices

With Judy Alter of Los Angeles, Dan Ashby et al, Tom participated in and filmed parallel elections in San Diego County (June ’05) and the recount of mayoral race in August ‘05. Tom is a member of California Election Protection Network (CEPN), Election Defense Alliance (EDA), Citizens for Democracy (CDF), SAVE R VOTE (Secure Accurate Verifiable Elections Require Voter Observation of Touchscreen Equipment) and Progressive Democrats of America (PDA).

Speaking of: JUDY ALTER of Los Angeles will also be joining us! Judith B. Alter Ed.D., emeritus UCLA Professor, has years of research experience; Judy began working on election justice issues four days after the California October 2003 recall election when Lynn Landes offered compelling evidence about how Diebold machines swung the election away from Bustamante to the current California "governor." She participated in the thwarted 2004 Recount New Mexico effort and subsequently analyzed the voting results in Santa Fe, New Mexico and found solid evidence of how straight party voting probably created big under-votes in 17 states.

MARK ADAMS of Florida will be returning to further update us on ProjectVoteCount.com and the Exit Polling data gathered by the dedicated volunteers in Florida and other states; and share with us how the volunteer effort is shaping up in Texas (where VoteRescue is helping organize) and other upcoming primary states.

The show can be heard on the radio in the Austin area at 90.1 FM; is streaming live on www.wtprn.com (for "We the People Radio Network"), AND, can be heard OVER THE PHONE at 512/485-9010!

This is a CALL-IN show The call-in numbers are: 1-888-202-1984, and in the Austin area, or if you have unlimited long distance, the number is 512-646-1984.
Hope to "see" and hear you "On the Air" on Sunday!
WE ARE WINNING--because of citizens like YOU!!
With thanks for your support,
Vickie and Karen
