Urgent: Help Needed to Fund New Hampshire Recount by the web |
|
|
According to the official letter that Albert Howard signed, the cost is $55 600 for the recount of approximately 240 000 ballots.
The Secretary of State must receive the money in the form of a certified check by 3 PM tomorrow January the 15th.
Go to http://grannywarrior.chipin.com/recount to donate. We need a major effort of all to raise this money by the deadline.
Spread the word, blog about it, send e-mails , get on the phone, do everything you can to make this happen.
When we have come this far, don't leave us hanging...
I trust you do your best.
Albert Howard

We already chipped in 19 million
to Ron Pauls campaign the last quarter. There should be plenty of cash there to fund a recount. Unless of course Dr. Paul doesnt have the will to fight the establishment grip on power. Will we be asked to fund recounts in the next 48 states ? I am saving up for a probable exit to a less fascist country. The Paul campaign already got my donations and when it was time to fight he remained silent. Recount for a primary?
The Republican and Democrat parties are going to pick who they want to run regardless of and election outcome. Ron Paul could receive every vote and not be selected by the Republican party to run because he is not really a Republican. Primaries are party elections (and should not recieve federal public funds). I don't think federal election law should even apply during the primary selection of a "party candidate". They are running not for president but for a chance to run for president for their perspective party. by Gallaher (2 articles, 0 quicklinks, 4 diaries, 990 comments [34 recommended, 1 rejected]) on Tuesday, Jan 15, 2008 at 12:35:26 PM
