Two of our Arizona election integrity activists have an opportunity to make a significant impact at the DNC August meeting in Chicago next week. We need money/frequent flyer miles to send them there. John Brakey is nationally recognized as a premier researcher in election integrity, with numerous national contacts, uncovering multiple violations in Arizona. He has appeared frequently on radio talk shows, television, and in articles and blogs. Mike Shelby has been an advocate for election integrity in Arizona since 2004, is a PDA sustaining member and a close colleague with John. John and Mike are active members of the PDA National Election Integrity Working Group. Together, John and Mike have made significant contributions to bringing awareness of our broken election system to the public, media, legislators, and within the State Democratic Party. Now they have a real opportunity to make those same impacts at the DNC.
John and Mike would join PDA Board Chair Mimi Kennedy in Chicago to help Greg Moore, Director Voting Rights Institute of the DNC, design and present a point by point plan for election protection to all 50 State Party Chairs.
