As I was working on the roses for Lynn Landes, some people also
wanted to send roses to Ted Ann and Bruce Funk and gave money for
doing so. Ted Ann is Bruce's wife. Bruce is the very brave election
official in UTAH who stood up to Diebold, as reported by BBV at
http://blackboxvoting.org/ There are stories dated 3/28/06 and
3/18/06 right on the home page.
Bruce has told Kathy Dopp that all the personal emails to him have
helped pull him through on a personal level. He now is asking people
to contact the Governor of Utah. Governor Jon Huntsman, Utah State
Capitol Complex,East Office Building, Suite E220,
PO Box 142220,Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-2220 . Governor's email
address: firstname.lastname@example.org and also email@example.com
Governor's Fax 801-538-1528
At this point, I have sent organic white roses to Ted Ann and Bruce
from the Election Reform movement and white roses to Lynn Landes from
individual signers. The roses will be arriving tomorrow - Thursday, March 30.
I shall send to the individual Lynn signers more about that and what
the card said in another email after this posting.
The message to the Funks said: "Dear Ted Ann and Bruce,
Bravissimo. Thank you for your outstanding courage and integrity. We
applaud you both. Stand strong.
All your admirers and supporters in the Election Reform movement."
As more money comes in, I shall send more roses
If you still want to be involved, it is not too late. Make checks
payable to Sheila Parks and send to Sheila Parks, 545 Centre Street,
Apt 603, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. This time on the memo line write
either Lynn or Bruce. Please let me know if you are sending a check.
They can try to stop the resister, but they can never stop the
resistance (and this one).
THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO
