Flag Twist

I have been reading and watching this crap go on all my life and it just keeps getting worse. Who can afford wandering the streets holding a sign that those in power laugh at? We are lead to believe that the system is so corrupt that the only way to fix it is for the people to rise up in armed rebellion!

WRONG!

That is what they want you to believe because they know that most of us are peaceful people. We are so busy fighting against one another, for IDIOTIC reasons, that we have forgotten who runs things here! We don't even think about what we have the power to do anymore. We simply bitch and moan about the other guy or the other party while others of us stream an endless river of articles about government-sponsored atrocities.

No one is offering a solution!

We don't even know what awesome power we have so we have been letting it all slide.

THERE IS A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEMS!

We are a Constitutional Republic. "We The People" have the power! Let's use that power. It is such incredible power that we only need a few of us in each State and those few need to only wield a little bit of it.

I am not going to ask you what the problem is with our Government is because I will get an endless list of red herrings that they have been feeding us since we were born. No, I am going to tell you the problem is:

THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT LISTENING TO US BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEY DO NOT HAVE TO!

When we let them get away with it then we give them permission to ignore us. They are not accountable to us. What in this contact (Our Constitution) holds them to the terms?

It is found here in Article II Section 1 Clause 8:

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

The other mention in the Constitution regarding the Legislative or Judicial branch's oaths is a passing statement in Article VI Section 3:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, SHALL BE BOUND by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. (Emphasis is mine)

Why does Ron Paul want to repeal the Federal Reserve Act and abolish the Federal Reserve system?

Paul

Paul's heart is in the right place but he is still a "company" man.  He is not running for an office in the Republic.  If he does not yet know the difference then I doubt, for all his good intentions ,he will prevail.

Extension

I re-read this comment and I would like to clarify my position.  Ron Paul is a good man and his heart is in the right place.  If I had to choose from all the candidates I would choose him.  If we do not help him by providing the change that must happen in us then he will simple be the "lost voice of reason" in the wilderness and he deserves better.

Yeah

No offense,

Perhaps it is my site that needs a look.

Seems to me that before anything can happen those "who think they rule" need to be held accountable right now.

You can cry all you want about how bad it is and you can protest all you want but until they understand that there are negative consequences for their betrayal of the people then it is just an impotent time wasting.  It is time that we don't have.

I like the way you are thinking Roger

Righteous courage founded on respect for the Constitution.

One of the things I find most irksome are the statements of representatives that argue that there probably are grounds for impeachment but they do not personally want to pursue that path.  These same impeachment-is-off-the-table-folk will then often express the importance of supporting the troops.

But consider men and women of the armed services take an oath:

"I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.  "

When Bush as President acts contrary to the constitution (as in giving the order to invade Iraq) he places the men and women of the armed services in the position of making them have to choose which part of their own oaths they are going to disregard, their duties to the constitution or to the President.

Leaving in place a President that makes it impossible for the troops to keep all parts of their own oath at the same time is the very opposite of supporting the troops.

Exactly!

Who and what is actually in violent rebellion here?  The people or the Governement?

I say:
"They that think they rule."  Need a reminder of who wields the power here.  It is time they respect us and our will.  If they can't then they better fear us because we have hit the limit of our patience.  We are going to take out the garbage one way or another.

Cheers

"all executive and judicial officers"

Its this part of article 6 of the constitution which you cite at the end of your own article that is exercising my mind at present.

It seems that if the right legal form can be adopted much of the judiciary is obliged by the constitution to support those also supporting the constitution.

I have been reading about an idea I read about on Bernie Weiner's blog relating to using Writs of Mandamus that could be issued on all recalcitrant representatives that are failing to support and defend the constitution. (Essentially any representative that hasn't so far signed on to Kucinich's impeach Cheney bill). I see Pelosi, Clinton, Reid, and even Conyers as potential candidates for the targetting of these writs.  Let them know that "the table" that impeachment is off, does not in fact belong by manifest destiny to any of them.

Let me please encourage others to explore this Writ of Mandamus line as well.

http://www.opednews.com/articles/opedne_bernard__070620_dems__timidity_may_c.htm

A key difference between a republic (or even the popular idea of a democracy and mob rule) is that in a republic minorities have legal rights and the judiciary (as per article 6) is obliged to uphold those rights no matter how much popular nonsense is being spread about.

Good Plan

Yes this is using their process.

Everyone must understand that we the people have the power to maintain justice, law and order.  We gave our power to government under contract because it is more conveinent.  We still retain that power.  They are in breach and we have the power to compel performance to the terms.  We brought the government into this world and we can take it out.  Rather then scrapping the whole thing let's simply apply the law that exists.  The writ of mandamus is one approach, however if the judiciary is the problem then you are asking the criminals to punish themselves.

It is the correct approach when the judiciary has maintained its integrity.

This constitutes correct and constructive thinking and I applaud you.

You see where it is documented in the dusty books is not important.  The important thing is merely recognizing the power we have.  Law books tend to intentionally obfiscate our real power and rights.  This is done on purpose merely to make us believe that we need the authors to decipher our rights and powers for us.

I know differently.

NO!

We have the right, power and duty to expect that our Public Servants respect those they serve. Once a judge knows that there is a threat of retaliation directly by the people, as is always their power and right to do so ,  they will know what to do. They will be given every opportunity to serve the will of the people and support our Constitution. If they do not then there is no rule of law in this country so vigilantism is a moot point and a red herring. We are a country of laws and they will obey or they do not serve in office.

Cheers,

Roage

Let's do something

As a Constitutionalist I oppose the Bush adminstration and the Republican Party.  Do you support them?  If you say no, guess again.  The directions to Camp Casey stated travel by carpool/hybrid/electric (I looked them up).  What do we drive the rest of the time, our SUV?  Do we not support the oil corporations?

Also, people are raving about the new Michael Moore show, purporting to show the lack of care about those less fortunate.  If Michael Moore cares about those less fortunate than himself, does that include the hungry in Africa who do not abuse food as he does?  Clearly eating too much meat supports the war machine.

What can we do?  Support the Green Party.  If Al Gore had run with Ralph Nader instead of against him he would have been declared president.  Is there any doubt that the real loser in the 2000 election was Broadway Joe of Connecticut, who has morphed into a neocan campaigning for Republicans?  Support the Constitution and the Libertarian parties.

Green

I agree much of what we do does not make sense from an economy of resources.  I don't advocate parties that now populate or desire to populate the offices of the corporate fiction: "The United States of America".  I don't  advocate fighting over issues and ideology until we gain control of our government and establish equity and power back in the hands of the people where it belongs.  Much of our problem stem from the merging of corporations and government and that could only happen when we allowed our government to operate outside of our oversight.

If the Greens are willing to bind themselves to Our Constitution then I like them, if not, then maybe next time.

To haggle issues serves only to divide us and weaken our resolve.  The corporations are powerless against a well oiled Constitutional Republic.

They know that.

That is where we need to direct our energies.

Warm Regards,

Roage

CITIZENS MUST FIRST BE PREPARED TO RESIST A VIOLENT COUP

It is doubtful that those violating the constitution while holding offices under that constitution will allow us to peacefully vote them out of power so violence will probably be necessary.  And a good legal argument can be made that those attempting a coup instead of peacefully allowing the majority of the voters to replace them will be the ones attempting to overthrow the government by force and violence and that those violently attempting to fight and stop their coup are the people really trying to stop the overthrow of the government by force and violence.

But do you really think they will let you get away with hanging one office holder without bring the full force of the police and military against you?  (I am opposed to the death penalty by the way.)

It is still legal for people to learn how to use guns and to form gun clubs for recreational target practice.  You are not going to get the majority support you will need to be successful until the present holders of power attempt something like a coup.  It is best to use the free speech we still have to get people ready to respond to an armed coup with the perfectly legal methods of encouraging people to under go firearms training and organize gun clubs.  Also urging people to simply refuse to obey blatently unconstitutional laws in conjunction with their firearms training will prepare people to fight back if the government tries to suppress civil disobedience by mass killing of the populace.

A choice

Most of our problem in this country is good people are sent to government and get trapped in a system they cannot fix.  Most want to do something but either don't know what to do or are powerless because of their contractual obligations.   I know that given a choice between the system they are in and one that does indeed improve their own situation that, Most, not all, but most will choose to be Americans first and do the right thing.

Whether they like it or not is not a concern.  Remember we are not talking about hanging them.  We are talking about holding them to the terms of the contract.  If they are hanged then it is a result of their failure.

It has not been tried and until it is tried then it is merely speculation.

Doing what we are doing is not working.

They need to know that we are serious.  Either way, the press will be forced to report because under common law you can say anything you want as long as it is true or there are no victims created.  I can easily demonstrate that there have been victims created due to the conduct of the media in this nation and they too better fly right or the new Republic will make them suffer for their crimes.

Are we paying attention yet?

Cheers

Bush is in office as a result of a violent coup1

Thugs financed by the Bush campaign attacked the recounters in florida, kicking some to the floor and committing other acts of violence. The goal was to stop the count while Bush was still in the lead. It worked.

Bush is in power because he took over by violence.

Thats why "They" built nuclear weapons

When you call for "Stringing them up," "They" know exactly that that is what could be in store for "Them."

"ET" understands all of this also and that is why He stepped in and shut down the ability to launch nuclear weapons.

Rather than stringing them up, it could be more productive to take another route to get our nuclear armed fiend class off of us, and in to retirement.

The exact method to do this, could appear, and hopefully soon.

When the mass awakens to the reason for the "ET" intervention, it may produce a Mind set that will not take orders from our nuclear armed enemy fiend elite class. We are the "Living Dead."

The structure that we call a government, ended in 1946; that was when the decision was made to exterminate the mass of the human race in an all out nuclear holocaust.

"They" know what could await "Them," and that is why "They" are still trying to get a full blown nuclear war underway; before you all awaken to their plans to genocide you all.
