Chicago, IL – Today, Former Democratic National Committee Chair and Massachusetts supderdelegate Paul G. Kirk, Jr. endorsed Barack Obama. The endorsement brings the total number of superdelegates to endorse Barack Obama to 253. Senator Obama is 279 delegates away from securing the Democratic nomination. His statement is below: “It is with a great sense of pride and confidence in his leadership that I am delighted to publicly endorse Senator Barack Obama and pledge my support to him as former National Democratic Chairman and as a superdelegate. Senator Obama is the one candidate who has and will continue to expand the electorate beyond the traditional Democratic party base and bring young and new and Independent voters to the Democratic banner in November, an essential ingredient to a Democratic victory. “Throughout his life and public career, has fought the tough fights to advance the quality of life of the working families of Illinois, not with election year gimmicks like the gas tax holiday espoused by others, but by hard headed, common sense solutions, and that’s what he will do as President of the United States. “America never turns back. America always marches forward to seize the future. 8 of 10 Americans believe their country is on the wrong track. Senator Obama is the one candidate who, in the best tradition of American history, will not take us back but will lead us to a new future. “Senator Obama is the one candidate best able to quickly restore America’s respect and reputation globally. Senator Obama is the one candidate best able to set the tone at the top for the unity and reconciliation needed in this country, to bring us together, to define our common goals and to provide the inspiration to move us forward. “After the attention paid to the poisonous and polarizing diatribe of recent days, Senator Obama’s clear and compelling message which appeals to our best instincts as Americans is more important than ever. For all these reasons, I heartily endorse Senator Obama and hope my colleagues will do the same.”

well done good and faithful one Thank you Mr. Kirk Jr. It is the fight right now between WE THE PEOPLE and the Old regimen, WE THE PEOPLE WILL WIN . It is time. No more time for divisions, double standards, but a new beginning this is 2008. it is time for the old regimen to retire, get on with what All Americans uneducated/ educated, active intelligent/hurt and mislead people has coming to them, respect, the american dream, unity, no more divisions, but someone to speak and inspire us all to think for ourselves the right road to travel now. We really do not have long before the Acceptance of this Young Black/White man running for President of the united States of American and the acceptance of many other good occurences that are headed our way for a Better America and a better world. Not based on fear, but on hope and belief that a superior being has planned for the mother earth to resonate now in unity, justice, for all of her people and her planet. We need someone who is not afraid to Stand up for Change, he can only do it with our voices and good thoughts and prayers behind him. Barack Obama answered the Clarion Call when he decided to run for this Office, We will be answering this same Clarion call when we Vote our hearts that are speaking out to us to do the right thing putting race, religion, creed, gender, age and origin out of our previous learned behavior and into new and pure hearts that we were born with before society taught and tainted us. We should search again for that pure heart that is the only thing that is going to get us out of the mess that the Old regimen have lead us into. We must Change Now, Time is of the importance, and Barack Obama has answered that call and will be the Next President of the United States. It is unstoppable now. Thank you Mr. Kirk by

The Risk Averse Alert is Power to Prosper
Endorse this Is this the same Massachusetts whose two Senators and several Congressional Representives are bending over backwards to bail out Wall Street? And is this the same Obama who will do nothing to challenge the mortgage fraud perpetrated by the Street ... a fraud which is resulting in millions losing their homes? Oh, to be in bed with the Brahmins... by

I do have writing credits in a major newspaper--long ago.
Who's out of touch with We The People? It must be the Kerry/Kennedy wingnuts of the DNC. Hillary is winning the popular vote; the people are rejecting Barack, seeing through the phony commercializing of our precious right to choose a president. Yes, the O'Brahmins are at full throttle to race away from reality and save their sorry political skins. Obama loses in the general election against a weak opponent, John McCain. Those are the results of every recent poll. And that says more than all the slick ads and endorsements from Party wigs, whose only interest in American welfare is their stock portfolios. Wake up and smell the burning constitution. With each day, we lose a little more of our freedom to control our own destinies. by
