I received a letter from Gov. Siegelman yesterday. For once, it was not positive and upbeat. He talked about how he's been in prison for 8 months and hasn't even got to file an appeal yet.

I think he's getting depressed. Let's all send him a valentine card (or two)! I think that would cheer him up. Also, his birthday is coming up on the 24th. I think it would be great if he got lots of birthday cards too! His address is:

I live in Decatur AL. I am a lifelong Democrat. I started writing to Don in prison and he answered me! We have become friends. I taught school for four years and then I went to work For the Government, where I am a Claims Assistant.
