Dennis doesn't just need our help to get elected, he needs our support now. The real goal of ending the war in Iraq cannot wait until 2008. Dennis has just introduced legislation in the House of Representatives to bring the troops home from Iraq now, using funding already allocated by Congress. As stated in his press release "Kucinich has been circulating the plan with Members of Congress for two months and recently had it put in legislative form. He will be speaking to Members of Congress to gain support for the bill in the coming weeks and months" Clearly he could use all the backup we can provide him to force our Representatives to do the right thing. Please contact your Representative and ask that they support HR 1234 (has a nice ring doesn't it, 1234 they are out!) Explain to your Representative that the American people are behind this legislation and that they need to start voting for WE the People. In February 2006, a Zogby poll showed that 72% of US Troops wanted out of Iraq by this time. Polls have shown that 82% of Iraqis want US out of their country. It is time to do what is right and Get out of Iraq!

Another easy and useful action is writing a Letter to the Editor. This is a way to reach people in your community and ask that they too contact their Representative. It is time for Congress to start acting on behalf of the American people and the Iraqi people. It is time for congress to truly support the troops by bringing them out of this illegal, immoral and futile war.
