Jerusalem Post: Israel Training for Air Strike Against Iran

The Jerusalem Post reports that the Israeli Air Force is training to bomb Iran.

That's great, the air strike, predicted by many in the reality-based community, is likely to kill many innocent civilians in Iran and destabilize much of the world.

But the neo-con Israeli and American hawks know from experience that war works well, right?

The training program has been taking place for some time but has only been released for publication Friday, the Ma'ariv daily reported.

Intelligence assessments received by the defense establishment concur that once Iran passes the point of no return in its nuclear efforts, the entire Middle East will enter a frantic nuclear armament race. Egypt and Saudi Arabia are expected to take the lead should such a scenario become reality.

Iran

Yeah. Let Israel wait until Iran nukes it off the map. That what you hate Israel (antisemitic types)want. All major powers have plans of worst cases. Iran has made its genocidal plan clear. Israel must be on guard.

Ahh Yeah

I hate Israel, I salute the NAZI flag every morning, and have written volumes of anti-Semitic tracts which I proudly display next to my Protocols text on my bookshelf.

Interesting the consistancy in history of those slandering anti-militarists, the emotive bursting of gas seems to solidfy around anti-Americanism, anti-German, anti-Semitic, anti-Soviet and so on.

If you can offer a reasoned explanation for bombing innocents, you would not have resort to idiotic accusations of anti-Semitism, moron.

Iran

There are times when military force is necessary. The Arabs attacked Israel in 1948, 1967, and 1973. Without the IDF there would be no Israel. Maybe more moderate forces will take over Iran, meantime Israel must keep options open. It cannot be toast waiting for these moderates to take over. Diplomacy is the first resort. Unfortunately, too many Israel bashers really want Israelis dead so they criticize attempts by Israel to defend herself. That doesn't mean all Peace Now types hold this view, but I do not think they are being realistic.

Oh, give me a break

I have the utmost respect for the Jewish people, and I can sympathize with their feelings about Israel, but I do not feel that starting a nuclear war with Iran is the solution to this "crisis" mostly manufactured by the Neocons as they manufactured the "crisis" over Saddam's nonexistent WMDs.  My opinion does not make me an anti-Semite.   Stop oversimplifying this issue and stop assuming imagined biases on the part of people you don't even know.   If not, when hell on Earth is unleashed by the nuclear war you are so eager for between the U.S. and Iran, I hope you have a good time dealing with the consequences.

Neither Russia, China, Pakistan, India, America, France or Britain, all of which have engaged in attacks on other countries since WWII have been subjected for military threats for the development of nuclear weapons.

How did little Israel become the bouncer for the nuclear club?
