Diseased and Fanatics these are The Warriors of God

Tell A Friend

Extremes are rather dangerous, not knowing when to stop or even realizing that we have gone way to far, is the cause of major problems.  There is a specific compound in our brain which creates a chemical reaction; this reaction allows us to know if we are full, satisfied, or still empty inside.  This compound also controls dependency on, people, substance and feelings.  Who is susceptible to this chemical and why are some people able to stop drinking while others drink themselves to oblivious?

Why is it, that one person’s definition of God is totally different from another?  Is there more than one God?  Could it possibly be that the way we each see things is different from one another, due to the arrangement of chemicals in our brain?  What satisfies one person may totally be repulsive to another; this is rather typical and normal in the spectrum of human needs.  But since when has someone choice, needs, or chemical arrangements become a sin?  Oh yes, this probably dates itself back in history.

Mankind has struggled with one another and himself through out history, the delusional thinking, the need to conquer land and hold total power of others has lead us to create the world we see before us today.  Nothing has changed, except our technology and form of transportation.  To get to the point of this article, after watching God’s Warriors on CNN, I became rather troubled by what I saw.  What are we dealing with here, what kind of future is our future generation heading for?

These fundamentalists who have an obvious hormonal imbalance are trying to dominate our society.  They are crying injustice, and claim we are not allowing them to practice their religion.  Well since when does practicing one’s religion involve forcing others to do the same?  Why can’t they pray in private like normal people do?  Why must they be so animated and in your face?  Could it possibly be that they are trying to convince themselves and warding off their own addiction demons?  If you ask any radical, born again, evangelical person what their past history was, I bet you they were either an ex alcoholic, sex offender, drug addict or trying to hide their true sexual feelings.  They are having such a hard time with this that the only way they can deal with it is to act out.  Yes, that’s right act out.  Their disease is so over whelming that they have to act like crazed maniacs, well we saw it for ourselves on the show.  Would a normal healthy minded person, wail their hands in their air, scream at the top of their longs “Praise Jesus” or whatever it is they say when they are in their trans?  In addition, make such public out roars; pull their kids out of regular schools, so they can talk to them about God all day long?  Now really, how normal is that?  They spend their entire day making phone calls to recruit people, badgering abortion clinics and women, and trying to stop same sex marriages.  Do they not have anything else better to do?  Was this what Jesus Christ really wanted for us?  Pray all day, find ways to feel how not worthy we are, limit anything and everything that feels good, and control who we are having sex with.  If it were up to them we would have 15 babies per house hold, hold bible studies daily, segregate everyone, and finally bring back slavery and make woman subservient to men.  Now that’s what they call the ideal world.

I know it will be only a matter of time when the scientists and medical community will finally determine that extremists suffer from a hormonal imbalance, that their serotonin levels are very low and religion is their fix, well temporarily, until they can no longer hold back their true urge, and then,  we will hear about them in the news.  I say to all those that are held in chains, free yourselves, learn moderation, and realize that God Loves you no matter what.  It is you that needs to learn to love yourself.

We need a spiritual growth spurt

Most of the world's great scriptures contain warnings that adherents will be misled and misuse the teachings.  This is what we see with fanatics of all religions.   The remedy is not to ditch religion and God, but rather to grow spiritually, to recognize that all non-satanic religions, life-fostering religions, worship the same deity and teach the same values- of universal love, justice, mercy and peace.

The great Lakota prophet Black Elk had a vision of the sacred hoop of hoops, joining all the spiritual traditions.  Satchidananda built a lotus temple in Virginia to celebrate the principle of interfaith.  Jesus said "in my
Father's house there are many rooms".

We can no longer afford religious intolerance, and we desperately need to unite around universal spiritual values if we are to save the planet.

I agree

The religious rights or extremists have pushed people away from religion.  Spirituality is the key to bring peace and unconditional love to this word.  Unfortunately, the spiritual ones are not voicing their opinions and those that are fanatics are, that is because of their nature to be intolerant and belligerent.  I do hope and pray to save our planet and those that live in it, that things change, and that fundamentalists will be outlawed or at least kept quiet.
