Earlier, Obama took to the Senate floor and announced to his fellow senators that he "was against the war to begin with, it never should have been authorized"? He announced his "filibuster" to end the funding for the war and 72 senators rose up and voted "YEA" to support his "filibuster"?
WITHOUT funding, the war and occupation of Iraq comes to an end.

IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED". No question mark about that! The United Nations Charter "prohibits the use of military force" against any nation without the approval of the United Nations Security Council, which NEVER approved Bush's invasion of Iraq. But wait, not so fast. Didn't those 2 "Authorization to Use Military Force" Resolutions passed by Congress in 2002 and 2003 override the United Nations Charter?
