If you are ready to display your dis-satisfaction with the direction that the current Republican administration has taken this country, we have an event for you.
The "Run (or Walk) Against Santorum" will be held in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 7, 2006. The run will begin at 12 noon at the intersection of County Line Road and Route 202 in Chalfont, Pennsylvania and proceed north along Route 202 to New Hope, Pennsylvania.
This is a free event. There are no fees.
Runners and walkers will be wearing anti-Santorum t-shirts so that tens of thousands of drivers along Route 202 will see that Bucks County residents want Santorum and his supporters voted out of office in November.
The entire run is 17 miles, but runners and walkers are invited to run or walk as little or as much as they want.
There will be three stops along the way in Chalfont, Doylestown, and Buckingham where volunteers will campaign for Democratic candidates, distribute literature, and register sympathetic voters.
The run will end with a celebration in New Hope, Pennsylvania from 5 pm on with prizes for the best anti-Santorum t-shirt.
This is a self-moderated, unsponsored event. Run or walk at their own risk. Runners, walkers, and volunteers are needed. For more information,
