Draft Paul Hackett Trust
CINCINNATI – Friday, April 21, 2006, supporters of former US Senate candidate Major Paul Hackett, without fanfare have launched a draft committee and accompanying website to finish the work they started in the State of Ohio. “Paul was a catalyst for organizing in Ohio. The Democratic Party leadership is rolling the dice with Sherrod Brown, taking Independent, Republican, & Democratic Hackett supporters for granted,” said Howard Konicov former Hackett Field Manager. “We have a responsibility to live up to the aspirations that resonated with Paul in Ohio.
And while Paul may be out of the race, the American values which he articulated are not. Their prognostication is not going to be left to chance.
The Draft Paul Hackett Trust is going to hammer away on the substantive public policy issues that define American Democracy and lay the groundwork for Paul, should he choose, and others like him to run in the future.

I liked Paul Hackett
until I heard him subbing for Jerry Springer on Air America Radio. A caller to the show began to speak about the government's complicity in 9/11, but Hackett immediately cut him off and changed the subject without even a mention of why. We don't need another gatekeeper of the official story in Congress. What we need is someone who wants the truth about 9/11 to finally come out.
