When we are concerned, the first thing to do is to get fact-based information. Knowledge is power!

For a comprehensive list of who was on the ACLU's list of FBI spyfiles in 2004 (and it's quite an extensive list), see here:

www.aclu.org/spyfiles

You will get to a page which summarizes some of those mentioned on FBI reports, then see another link on that page which details the ACLU"s clients. Click on the "clients" link for more information.

It's interesting to note the patterns of who is being targeted as "terrorists", the worst criminals in our country. Take a peek and see for yourself. (Note: It's mostly those organizing political proactivity, usually peaceful. A Taco Bell strike would seem to qualify as "terrorist" activity, too).

Then, follow up with reports cross-posted on the Web, including this link as the reference. Cross-refer with the RNC arrests and make a case for why those innocent "Terrorists" were arrested, based on the patterns you see in the ACLU's list of FBI spyfiles.

Please pass this around.

Thank you.

This quote summarizes the nature of my concerns and the content of personal experiences which stir my activism: "Necessity is the plea for every infringement on human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves". --Paul (more...)
