In just two days the BAsics Bus Tour is kicking off in New York City!  The following video captures just a glimpse of the profound connection and revolutionary energy and potential that has been opened up through connecting the work of Bob Avakian, leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party, with sections of the most bitterly exploited and oppressed people living in this country.

The footage included is from the South, when I was part of this Tour as we took our 30-foot BAsics RV and more than a dozen full-time volunteers for two weeks on the road from Atlanta down to Sanford, Florida (where Trayvon Martin was killed).  Everywhere we went we met people who were hungry both for a different and far better world and for a way that they could contribute something meaningful to bringing that world into being.  This was really an incredible experience!  With BAsics, a book of quotations and short essays from Bob Avakian, as the "glue" of all of our work and the biggest tool we put in the hands of people everywhere, we succeeded in actively involving hundreds of new people in the growing movement for revolution in this country.

Next, we are taking this through New York City and the surrounding areas.

Watch the video below, make a contribution or come and join us on the ground, and share it with your friends.  Something new and extremely liberating and hopeful is taking hold.  Get in on it!
