The AP is asking a question that all sensible Americans ought to ask: where did the bailout bucks go and who are they benefitting?

As the AP notes: "It's something any bank would demand to know before handing out a loan: Where's the money going?"

The fact is, no one seems to know. If one of the problems leading to the financial meltdown was a lack of administrative and legislative oversight, the situation has not improved. Congress needs to take action now before greedy financiers diffuse the trail of bailout bucks. The US Senate and US House must act NOW!

Moreover, evidence is mounting that greedy bankers in the US and Britain have misused taxpayer funded bailout bucks to pad their own compensation packages. In this winter of discontent, such continuing greed and immorality can not stand.
